---Aziza POV---
"It's Aziza." I said with a smile on my face. He smiled back at me. "Aziza huh? That's a pretty name." He said back. I however, just crossed my arms. "You are the biggest idiot I have ever met! How is it you have only just realized that you never once asked for my name before now!" He crossed his arms then glared at me. "Hey you never asked for mine either....... By the way my name is" He trailed of before finishing with. "Kale." Oh how cute he's trying to lie to me. "Kale? It doesn't suit you at all..." I said, deciding to play along. He just laughed awkwardly as he scratched his head.
"So do you plan do introduce me to your parents?" I asked. As soon as the words left my mouth he froze. Of course he didn't plan to introduce me. After all, it would blow his cover. "I don't think that is such a good idea." He said panicky. I gave him a peculiar look. "Why not? Isn't it normal to introduce your betrothed to your parents?" I asked him. Enjoying making him drown in his own lie. His face became even more panicked. "Look it's not a good idea because they wouldn't want you there." He said, his voice cracking a little.
"What do you mean." I asked. He sighed. "Because my father is brain dead okay! He wouldn't like you." For some reason. I felt like this lie was starting to gain a little bit of truth in it. "I don't care what your father thinks! It should only matter what you think of me." I said calmly. He started frowning. "What is the problem Kale? Why don't you want me to meet your father?" I asked, genuinely interested in the answer. He started grinding his teeth. Awkwardly looking from left to right. I crossed my arms waiting for the answer as I narrowed my eyes at him. "Seti." I said warningly.
"BECAUSE I HATE HIM!" He shouted out in anger. He was clenching and unclenching his fist. "Why?" I asked him calmly. He looked at me with confusion. "What?" He asked is voice laced with that confusion. I sighed. "Why do you hate him?" I asked directly. He sat down crossing his arms. "Well because- I DONT KNOW! I just do." I shouted, trying to change the subject. However, I kept pressing it, refusing to drop it. "Why?" I asked once more. He started growing a look of irritation. "Stop asking that!" He shouted.
"Not until you answer me." I said back sternly. In response Seti stood up and started pacing back and forth. "I said I don't know okay!" He said desperately. Begging me through his eyes to give the topic up. But I wasn't going to relent. I stood up and reached for his arm. "I think deep down inside you do know. You know I'm right, so, just think about it. It's a simple question. Why do you hate your father?" He became calmer and sat down. "Because he hates me." He said calmly. "Well there you go. Now was that so hard? Anyway, now that we have got that out of the way, let's move to the next question.............How do you know that he hates you?" I asked.
He started pressing points in his hand to calm himself down. "Because of the way he treats me Aziza." He was speaking much calmer now. "How does he treat you?"I asked him. He started to breathe heavily, before he calmed down his breathing and started speaking slowly. "He never allows me to leave the palace... That's why I am always having to sneak out....." "So? Isn't that just being overprotective?" I interrupted. He started shaking his head. "No he just wants to make me miserable........" He let out bitterly. He is telling me the truth. Well at least he thinks he is anyway. That much I can tell. "how do you know that? How can you know for sure that is why he does this?" I asked. He started crying. And I felt my heart break at the sight of it.
He was always a crybaby when he was younger, but this time it surprised me. "Because of the way he looks at me. His eyes are always full of hate." He said while his breathing hitched. I sighed. "Seti, Did you ever consider that maybe you might be confusing hate for his anger?" I asked honestly. Seti must be mistaken about this. There is no way his father hates him. Not after what I saw all those years ago. He started laughing in response, which was a relief because at least he wasn't crying anymore. "You sound just like my mom." He said quietly.
