"Tom," Edward said as the light from the open window hit his skin and it proceeded to glimmer
This left Tom with butterflies in his stomach, though he couldn't dwell on that after all there is something additional growing in his stomach and his ex-lover knows it
He pulled himself back to focusing on Edward as he spoke
"Is it...his" Edward mumbles, hurt and unsure of what to do
"N-no, well I don't know I mean it could be yours-" Tom begins to explain before being cut off by a simple "No" that Edward spoke, so quite yet so forceful
"you don't know that Ed" murmurs Tom "Yes I do"
"I'm a vampire I can't create a-" Edward takes a breath before he returns to his dialogue "Tom I can't be mine" he whimpers
Tom, unsure what to do, brushes his hand against his ex-alpha's face "Ed, no matter who's it is, I still love you"
Edward slowly swaddle's his arms around tom
"I.. I know it's a lot to ask but I want to be with you, Edward we could raise this pup together" Tom says as he begins to sob
"i know it will take time for you to make a decision but i'll wait ok" says Tom
"Ed, please just say something... Well do you still love me?"
