Chapter 4: A Frightful Meeting

Onion's POV:

I can't take it any MORE.

I thought to myself. I just couldn't handled this situation without my friend. My BEST friend. So I went to discuss my other friends about me leaving this place and going out to find Apple.

Lemondrop's POV:

I woke up from my slumber to see Apple trying to wake me up.

"Finally you woke up! We need to get out of this place now, there are zombies coming our way!" -A

I got up quickly as soon as Apple said those words. We rushed our way to the exit with a couple of zombies in our way. Apple was attacking the zombies when another zombie pounce on me and growled.

"Oh no, don't you dare hurt this child." -A

Apple quick kicked the zombie away, took me by my hand and ran outside the building.

Onion's POV:

"Onion, are you kidding me? You're risking your own life for a person that is probably dead!" -B

"Hey! I need to make sure if he IS bitten or not. He's my friend!" -O

"Well, if you really need to go outside, you need some stuffs to defend yourself." -CC

"What are the stuffs I need?" -O

"You need something that will protect your body parts." -FF

Hot Dog went over to check something to protect myself.

"How about these shoulder pads? To be honest I'm actually surprised that the owner of this diner had these." -HD

I put them on my shoulders and it's kinda quite comforting.

"Thanks, Hot Dog. Anything else?" -O

"This kitchen knife!" -FF

"Ooo! Nice one Frenchy!" -CC

"Never call me that again." -FF

As French Fry gave a death glare to Cotton Candy, she gave me this kitchen knife.

"Cool. Anything else?" -O

"Well it seems like it just that. There is more knives in the kitchen though. You should take extra incase if you lost one." -HD

"Oh! And if you ever get hungry or thirsty, here. I put some foods and some waters in it." -B

Hot Dog and Burger hand me another kitchen knife and a bag full of foods and water. I put the extra knife in the bag and was about to leave the diner to search my friend.

"I'll see ya later, guys." -O

"Stay safe out!" -FF

"Don't get bitten!" -HD

"Kick those b*tches a*s!... Sorry." -CC

I wave goodbye to them and left. It's now time for me to search for Apple.

Apple's POV:

We quietly crouch and slowly walk our way out. After we managed to do that, I hold her hand tightly just incase if she was lost or something like that.

"Apple... Where are we going?" -LD

"Somewhere safe." -A

We walked for a while and eventually Lemondrop felt tired so I carried her on my back.

As I was walking, a figure is slowly showing up. I was preparing my attack.

Onion's POV:

I was really tired of walking.

I can't give up just now. Those who gave up easily are a bunch of... Scaredy cats.

I saw a figure with something on it's back. I slowly walked closer to see who it is until I saw a face.

"Apple?..." -O

"Onion?" -A

I was running towards him, giving a hug and crying.

"You... Dimwit, I thought you were dead!" -O

"Hey look, I'm fine! I kill some zombies while protecting Lemondrop." -A

"Wait... Lemondrop? Zombies?" -O

"It's kinda a long story but we need a safe place to talk." -A

"Oh! I know a safe place where we can talk together, and it has our friends there!" -O

"Let me guess, it's Pizza's Diner?" -LD

We were both shocked to see Lemondrop awake.

"Lemondrop! I thought you were asleep!" -A

"I was until you guys started talking a bit loudly." -LD

"Oh." -A

"Well what are we waiting for? We gotta go to Pizza's Diner!" -O

We ran our way to Pizza's Diner until some 'zombies' came to us.

"Don't worry, I have a knife and another knife!" -O

"I also have a weapon. Which is a pole." -A

Apple's POV:

"Lemondrop, stay behind us." -A&O

Lemondrop stayed behind us as we attacked them. It was all good until Lemondrop was tackled again by a zombie.

"Don't worry Lemondrop! I saved you!" -A

I pushed Lemondrop away from it and then.

It bit me.
