"It's alright y/n push!"
She grunted loudly,her head fell back,sweat covered her face.Her breathing was ragged and unsteady
"It's alright one last push!"polly said.Y/n gave one last push and the baby came out,it's loud cries startled Tommy who was standing outside the room
"Tommy"arthur breathed and waited for polly to come out.She came out holding a beautiful baby,crying in her arms
"It's a girl"polly smiled with teary eyes.Tommy felt tears brim in his eyes,he looked at the small creature and brought his hands forward to hold him
"Hold her"polly nudged forward making Tommy step back
"I don't know-she'll fall"he hesitated.Polly and Arthur laughed at Tommy.He gave them a look and then took his child in hands
The expression on his face was so precious holding his own daughter that it made tears come into y/n's eyes
She laughed with wet eyes seeing how afraid Tommy was to hold her.
That day was the most memorable one that they had.Tommy and y/n had never been more happier
But in all tales
Happiness comes with a price
The price was their daughter this time
Y/n was quietly swinging her daughter in her arms.She was looking at her mother with tired eyes.Y/n smiled and helped her daughter sleep
When she was asleep,she put her down on the bed and went to the bathroom to wash her hands in the sink
When y/n came back outside she smiled to see her sleeping soundly.But her smile dropped slightly when she saw no movement of breathing
"Hey love"she smiled and walked softly to her daughter and tried to wake her up.When she wasn't waking up panic started to rise in y/n's chest
"Ruby?Ruby?!"she shook her but she wasn't moving at all.Mary came inside the room when she heard y/n's panicked voice and seeing that something was wrong Mary rushed to them
"Why isn't she waking up?!"y/n shouted
"Somebody call Tommy!!!!"
...
It poured heavily outside,thunder roared and screamed.Tommy parked his car outside the house and rushed towards the stair case before y/n came outside
She was slumping on her feet.Tears in her eyes
"Where were you?!Where the fuck were you Tommy?!"she cried.Tommy rushed to his wife to help her
"She's gone tommy!SHE'S FUCKING GONE!!"y/n cried and hit Tommy's chest.Tommy hugged his wife,his heart shattering in pieces,a dark empty ghost taking over him
His stomach dropped when he heard what y/n said
"She's gone!"Y/n sobbed into his chest and hit him slowly.Tommy was beyond shocked,he only tried to hold her with his weak grip because he had no idea what was happening
Y/n was lying on the floor of their master bedroom,her back against the wall.All their housemaids gathered in the room around her trying to calm her
Tommy was standing near the bed,leaning against the wooden pillar of it looking at how things changed.He felt like screaming,crying,holding y/n till his body gives up on him and he dies from all the torture
Y/n had ruby on her lap,she was mumbling things under her breath.
The Shelby family was in the room.Polly sitting beside y/n crying her eyes out,but still trying to calm y/n with Ada on the other side,looking lifeless but still holding y/n's shoulders
Arthur crying silently beside Tommy,for loosing such a pretty niece when she was just two months old
Mary came inside the room,she walked to y/n very calmly and kneeled down to take ruby,so that they could take her body away respectfully
"Mrs Shelby"Mary's broken voice said.Polly looked up and nudged y/n to give up the child.Y/n looked up and tried to protest.Mary took the child with teary eyes
"No.No ruby.No!NO!!!!"y/n shouted and tried to get up and get her daughter back.But Polly and Ada knew they had to hold her
"No!RUBY!!!!DONT TAKE HER NO!!!!!"she cried.Tommy rushed forward to hold y/n.She sobbed and shouted and fell in his arms holding his shoulders
Tommy couldn't control it and fell into his darkness and broke in tears.His heart broke at hearing his wife's cries
The whole room broke into tears and looked down on the ground at hearing how broken they both were
"No!Tommy!STOP HER!!!MY DAUGHTER!!!!no...no!"she let out weak cries and hugged Tommy,his shoulder became wet from her tears but right now he didn't care enough
"It's alright love"Tommy's broken voice tried to calm her.
"It's alright"he closed his eyes and let tears fall from them.
"We'll get through this y/n"
