It was an unhappy marriage. One done without will.Even after Grace had betrayed Tommy he still wasn't able to love her that way again. He still had love and responsibility for her but something wasn't right. His heart didn't want this.

Grace however thought he had forgotten everything in their past and had love for her only. She knew she had betrayed him and she was fully responsible for her actions but she thought just because he loves her he would've forgiven her

Tommy's heart was gray but not until that one day when he met her.

Grace walked inside Tommy's office in the house without knocking. She walked in only to see him staring at his documents and not even acknowledge her with a simple look

"Tommy my friend will be coming to the house today.I request all guns to be kept back where they came from love. She's from out of town I don't really know if she'll appreciate how many guns and blades are around the house"she said.Tommy hummed in response

"It'll be done Grace"he said. She decided to leave him at that but she walked behind his desk towards him where he was standing while leaning on the desk. She turned his face towards her and cupped it with her hands

"Don't work so much Tommy. It'll tire you"she smiled and gave him a peck on his lips.He simply closed his eyes and she pulled away with a smile

"Mr work runs me...it does not tire me...Grace"he said. She rolled her eyes with a smile

"No arguing with you"she joked and walked out the office.Tommy rubbed the brim of his nose and sighed sitting turning around to look out the window.

A strange black car pulled into the driveway and he assumed it was her friend.Tommy took out a cigarette from his case and lighted it casually looking out the frosty blur window. He saw Grace walk out of the house smiling brightly to the woman in the car.The door to the other side opened and a woman came out with a black hat on her head

Grace's muffled voice greeted her and hugged her.The woman hugged her back but knew to keep her distance.

He saw the lady finally turn around. And there it was.The old flick in his heart that he had forgotten about. The sparks started to flow in his blood stream and something switched in him.

Her brown hair were as brown as chocolate, eyes as orange as fire and lips as deadly as blood with a tongue like a dagger, for which many were ready to be sliced.

She swore she could feel a stare at her side. She turned her head and thought her head was playing games with her when she saw a ghostly figure of a man by the window. His stare made her shiver under her coat.

"Shall we go inside?"Grace asked. She looked back at her and nodded

"Beautiful home"she replied, her elegant yet a little deep voice echoed around the house.

"Well thank you.My husband bought it specifically on my request.I'm just very fond of old English manors"

"Clearly"she mumbled to herself.Grace showed her around the house a little, showing her beautiful paintings at the staircase

"That's me and Tommy at the wedding"she pointed to a painting of her and Tommy sitting side by side, she held his hand and the diamond ring glistened on her finger

But what y/n was looking at was him.Something about his deep blue eyes made her shiver

"Painting is just another word for a void..you can see through it so easily"she said all of a sudden.Grace looked at the painting and then back at her smiling in confusion

"That's true.It shows a transparent image of who we are as a person"a deep husky, rough yet charming voice spoke behind her.Y/n turned her head and saw that same man she saw from outside the house
