The Drops Of Life
The dark clouds surfaces
To pour out their feelings,
To unveil the mystery
Of the new life.
And clad in ruby red
Walks down a lady
In the lonely streets,
Her candescent skin radiating
The bright city lights.
Her soft exquisite lips,
Humming to the tunes of hope
Her deep aura infecting,
The abode of reminiscence.
Sparkly pearly drops
Rests on the tip of her nose,
Then caresses her ivory face
And gently she closes her eyes,
Into a deep reverie,
Back to happier soothing times.
But the roar of angry clouds; And
The bone crashing hugs of wind
And merciless thumping of rain
Shakes her out of it.
She hurries to the shade,
Melancholy enters her lucid eyes
Unknown emotions swirls in her face
Reminding her of black days.
But it lasts for few minutes,
As the fierce rain to a soft drizzle
And glint of joy back in her orbs
Giving her fortitude
Though it flickers like a candle
But enough to believe in herself
A faint smile touches her lips
As she stretches her hands
To the drops of life.
