That night again, the heroes set up camp and helped Crystal help log more entries in her journal. But this time, Pepe had other plans...

"Alright time for bed little lady." Zappy told Pepe, picking her up and heading to the tent.

"Awww but Zappy! It was getting fun!" She whined "Why do you guys get to stay up and I can't?"

"Because we're older. Now stop arguing and get ready for bed."

"...Can you at least read me a bedtime story?" Pepe asked him as he put her down.

Zappy smiled. "Alright. How about... The Trainer and the Froakie?"

"NUH UH! A different one!"

"... Jirachi and the Beanstalk?"

"No."

"The Three Little Tepigs?"

"Boring!"

"Snow White and the Seven Digletts? Little Red Absol? THE UGLY DUCKLETT?!" Zappy listed.

"No, no, and no." Pepe told him. "Something new! A story you've never told me before! Something...exciting."

Zappy stared at her in disbelief and ran out of the tent.

"Guys put the journaling on pause." He ordered. "I need to come up with a brand new bedtime story in two minutes or else Pepe's gonna stay up all night."

"Then let her stay up." Candy scoffed, brushing her ribbons.

"Yeah, the darkness is a friend to all." Phantom said dramatically

"You two would be such bad parents." Crystal sighed.

"Guys, Pepe is under 13 and should NOT be able to stay up late." Zappy reminded them. "Besides, I don't want to carry her in the morning."

"Psyduck Psyduck! (I'm under 13!)" Plucky Ducky told him.

"You're different." He told him.

"You guys are amateurs if you can't come up with a story in two minutes." Willow said, cracking her knuckles. "I used to tell stories to the little ones all the time in Forest Villa."

"So do you have something original and not a rip off?" Storm asked.

"Nope! These stories were total rip offs."

"That's my sister." Storm said, proudly.

"Guys focus! It's like I can feel Pepe's eyes burning on my back, staring and waiting for me to tell her a story." Zappy shivered.

"How about we just go around and we each tell a different part of the story." Crystal suggests. "Just like we did for giving reminders on what happened today for the journal."

"Yeah, let's do that." He nodded.

The group followed him inside the tent, leaving Plucky outside.
