I took Penelope's tiara off. 

I put it back in the box and put the box back in my bag. 

I had a feeling she'd fall asleep on the ride to the airport. 

I stroked the top of Penelope's head. 

I was watching her sleep. 

"Principessa." I whispered, stroking the top of Penelope's hair. 

She smiled in her sleep as she moved her head onto my chest. 

Penelope rested her left hand on my chest near her face. 

I looked down at her diamond Engagement ring on her left ring finger. 

I moved the ring around on Penelope's left ring finger to center it. 

"Sir, we're here." 

I moved her onto my lap carefully without waking her up. 

I opened the door. 

I effortlessly lifted Penelope up into my arms. 

"Sir, another jet is on your tarmac." 

"What?!" 

"We're trying to persuade the pilot to move but it's not working." 

"I'll convince him." 

I placed her down on the couch in my private lounge in the airport. 

I stroked the top of Penelope's hair before walking out. 

"Mr. Petrov, who is that woman?" 

"My Wife. Don't touch her." 

The flight attendant was shocked. 

It was my personal flight attendant. 

"Okay." 

I boarded the jet that was on my tarmac. 

I pulled my gun out of my waistband. 

"Get your jet off my tarmac now." 

"No." 

"Get your jet off my tarmac or else--" 

"Or else what? You'll kill me?" 

He scoffed. 

"Yeah, right. You can't kill a person." 

The pilot gasped as I put my gun to his temple. 

"You see, my in-laws are the Mafia leaders, meaning I can kill you and get away with it. Now, are you gonna move your jet off my tarmac or not?" 

"Philip?" It was Penelope. 

She was half-asleep half-awake. 

"Yes, sir." 

"That's what I thought." 

I secured my gun in my waistband. 

"Thought you'd see things my way." 

I walked away from him. 

I wrapped Penelope in my arms. 

We walked off his jet. 

The pilot moved it. 

"Did you--" 

"It's nothing, baby. Don't worry about it, okay?" 

"Mm." 

I wrapped my arm around her shoulders, bringing her into my side. 

Penelope looked up at me.
