It is said
That
"Time heals
All wounds"
That
"Out of sight
Is out of mind...."
But,thats not true
Because
I still hear
Their piercing screams
In my nightmares
&
I still see
Their blood drenched green coats
Everytime I close my eyes
&
I still smell
The metallic stench of their innocent blood
In the unjust air of my country
&
I still wonder,
At times
That it could've been me
&
I still wonder
Where they had sinned
&
I still wonder
Why...
This monstrous fate ,
Befell them,
Not me..
