This is a consipracy theory book, and basically talks about the stairs in the woods phenomenon. But it also mentions other things that have been spotted in the woods further on.
You may have heard of stories of staircases being found in the woods with no other structures being found around them. No one really knows what they are, and how they got there. These staircases are always found miles inside of thick forested areas. (Such as the one above.) The stairs can be in ruins, made of stone, iron stairs in a spiral, wooden, or even carpeted with nothing on them at all.

I personally see them as bad luck. (I'll say why in the next chapter.) People who have gone near them feel a sense of unwelcome or that they are doing something very wrong.
There are a couple theories that people have about them, some say they lead to another dimension, others say it goes to hell, but probably the one we can connect events to is people going missing and never being found again. Now i will discuss why I believe in the last theory.
