-"Here. have some of this" Yibo said softly and handed some green tea.

-"Thank you" giggled the guy on the hospital bed "with you taking care of me  i'll get better in no time"

Suddenly the door of the room opened

-"Mr. Wang Yibo?" Zhan walked in interrupting the two

-"Why are you here?" asked Yibo in a scary tone

-"Well, im a doctor here. I thought you knewww? And whyy are you here? To check up on your wounds? The ER department is on the other side" said Zhan while pointing over to the left side

-"Im here as a guardian" answered Yibo and had a annoyed look

-"Yibo, what wounds?" asked the guy

Guardian? Wang haikuan is the patient...Wang yibo... OHHH so they are brothers! the puzzle clicked in zhans head and he let out a little gasp.

(Wang Haikuan, Yibo's biological brother)

-"Ohh, Mr. Wang's wounds are not serious, in fact its just a tiny paper cut, but he should get it checked since the pandemic just finished and its still dangerous" awkwardly giggled Zhan

Yibo let out a sign of relief

-"oohh" Haikuan smiled at Zhan

Zhan smiled back and walked over to the brothers with a notebook in his hand. But before he reached the hospital bed Haikuan was laying in. He was stopped by Yibo

-"We need to talk" Yibo said and pulled Zhan by the wrist. He pulled Zhan out of the room
"Why are you here?" he continued after closing the door behind him, not letting go of Zhan's wrist

-"He's my patient" said Zhan

-" doctor Li is in charge of him"

-"He handed Mr. Wang to me."

-"Why? Do you think its a game? Is he giving up on him? How dare he just so easily pass his patients without even informing? The surgery is in two weeks and he just passed him to another doctor?"  Yibo said in an angry tone, but you can hear the tremble in his voice. He's hurt and scared for his brother. The only person that's left by his side

-"Calm down mister. Mr. Li flew back to his hometown, he had some urgent problems."

-"What is more urgent than saving someones life..He gave us hope and just disappeared like that?!" a single teardrop rolled from his eye, quickly he looked the other direction out of embarrassment that he was crying in public

-"Im really sorry for how this all turned out and how sudden the change was. But don't worry, everything will workout, no matter what. I promise. You can trust me" said Zhan wiped the tears away from Yibo's cheeks.

Yibo pushed Zhan's hand away

"if it will not... I will..."

-"I promise you that your brother will be just fine. I'm a qualified surgeon with no record of unsuccessful surgery. So don't worry Mr. Wang" Said Zhan.

-"Yibo, you can call me just Yibo"

-"Alright, then you can call me Zhan or Zhange" and Zhan smirked

-"Who are you to me to call you ge?(ge is brother in chinese:)" said Yibo as he rolled his eyes

-"Your senior? Yibo didi(didi is little brother) or may I say Bodi?" giggled Zhan.

Yibo turned red from... anger? or was is it...

I know this isn't the right time to joke around, but In situations like this its better to trust time and get a distraction. Since you can't really change anything anyways. - Thought Zhan to himself

-"Now move kid, I have work to do" smiled Zhan walked into Haikuans room. Yibo rolled his eyes on him and followed Zhan inside.  But before he entered the room Zhan whispered "You stay here" to Yibo and closed the door right infront of Yibo's face. Locking him out of Haikuan's room

Zhan finished the checkup and walked out the room and a smile lit up his face when he say Yibo sitting on the ground like a little obeying puppy

-"Aww, what a good boy" teased Zhan

-"you better shut up before i-"

-"YIBO SPEAK NICELY TO MR. XIAO!" screamed Haikuan that was ear dropping his little brother from the patient room

Yibo signed

-"now follow me, we need to go somewhere" said Zhan

-"wher-" before he continued he was pulled by zhan into a patients room.

-"Take off your shirt" said Zhan

-"...WHAT?" screamed yibo with a tomato face

-"Hey hey not in that way, I was just going to check on your wounds since your here, or you want it in that way?" laughed Zhan making the other flustered and angry at the same time. "But can you hurry please, I still have work to do"

Yibo frowned knowing that Zhan wont leave him alone and rolled up his shirt

Zhan closely inspected his body, he took a medicine bottle and applied it to his ab line, since there was a pretty bad wound there as well. His movement were gentle yet skill full.

-"There!" smiled Zhan then he looked at yibo who was staring at him the whole time "Are you okay, you dont look so well..." said Zhan and put his hand on Yibo's forehead, which was burning hot by the way, so was the color of his face. Yibo quickly pushed his hand away and ran out the patient room.

-"What a weird guy" laughed Zhan
