I pick my pet up and place her on the bed and the beast inside of me tells me to lay down with her he wishes to feel her warmth

And we begin to watch our movie I watch her more then I'm watching the movie I love seeing the brightness she gets in her eyes before she notices and hides it i cant explain why but it just brings me a nice feeling similar to peace

I want to reach over and touch her but I'm scared for many reasons but ultimately my want wins over the fear

And I reach over and place my arm gently on her stomach
I feel her barely tense up at first but after a few moments she relaxes and for some reason that brings me pain knowing she expected me to hit her

I may not want a pet but I will never harm her just to harm her

As we lay here I didnt realize how long I was looking at her till I look over at the tv and the movie has gone off

I sigh knowing it's time to get up and for some reason I dont really want this moment to end

But I look over at the clock and notice it now reads six and I know we need to go cook for the food will take about a hour to cook and I know pete will probably come over and when he sees her he will definitely want to speak to me and then we will need to take showers and get ready for bed since we have a big day tomorrow .

Come on pet it's best we go downstairs to start preparing dinner .I say

And she stands but for some reason as she does so instead of grabbing her leash like I normally do I reach over and unlatch it .

Pet you wont need to wear the leash why we are at home unless I say otherwise. I say I can tell she is a bit shocked but doesnt say anything

Come now .I say

We walk down the stairs and just as I expected pete walks in right at that moment

Hey sa. He begins to say but his words fall short as he notices my pet beside me I know he has thousands of questions that I really dont feel like dealing with

Hey pete before you say anything else we are about to make dinner your welcome to come in there with us but we will be making that first before anything else . I say in a no argument tone

And he just shakes his head and we all head to the kitchen to prepare dinner

I decide we will make chicken alfredo with garlic bread since we dont have a lot of options in the freeze and besides that's one of my favorite foods hopefully she will like it as well

Will you be staying for dinner tonight pete.i ask

No I was gonna head home after I came as saw you . He replies

I shake my head okay at this and begin to prepare dinner.

Pet sit in the chair by pete .I command

And she walks over and has a bit of trouble getting up in the chair but she manages after a few seconds.

So ..pete begins

So? .i ask

Well i mean last I heard you were going back to the shop today .he says

Yes I went . I say

And .? He ask

Well as you can see she is still here . I say

Why ?. He ask

Because I said so and that's it !! I say in a loud voice

Okay okay no need to get angry I was just curious bud I'm glad she is here .he says
