Peter texts a wrong number that happens to be an Avenger (commonly Tony Stark) and they become friends. Aunt May either ends up dead somehow or she's abusive for some reason. The Avengers are trying to find out who Spider-Man is because Nick Fury says so, so now Peter is being hunted. Peter also some how starts working at S.I. or the Avengers just adopt him (both legally and illegally).
