I hear Geralts loud footsteps going up the stairs and they stop outside my door. My heart pounds. I try to cover my chest with my hand to muffle the sound but it wont make a difference, he already knows. He knocks gently on my door. I almost trip trying to get to the latch and let him in. He is dripping in water and sweat. I cant tell which is which. 

"Geralt what, what happened to you?"

"I went swimming"

"In your clothes?"

"yes"

"Okay"

"why are you here Ger"

Geralt then bends down to give me a tattered piece of parchment. I look down and realise it is a recipe for my mothers famous flower bread.

"is this?, Geralt you didnt" 

"It's in her handwriting its" I start to cry and run into Geralts damp armour clad chest

"you don't understand how much this means to me Geralt how did you get this?"

"I fought a Jinn, There are rumours that jinh live in that river so I" 

"spent a jinhs wish on me, why would you do that?" 

"it seemed far more worthy then jasks bag of coins and seeing you upset was scary"

I give him a big hug and cry into his shoulder
