Algería was surprised to see him here. "...Free..." He was standing there, in this Babylon, in front of an arena she assumed Fafnir was in. She stepped a little closer and into the glow of the moonlight. The fireflies flying through the air, the deer grazing further away... It almost looked like something out of a fairy tale but this wasn't one. It was reality. "Do you spend all of your time here?" Algería joined Free. He still hadn't said anything but the girl didn't care. She bent down to the arena where Fafnir lay. The redhead's hand ran across the arena floor and you could feel the footprints of the beys that had been circling in there. "This arena is really old and yet it's still in such good condition...It must mean a lot to you..." Algería grabbed Fafnir and stood up again. "I don't want to keep you any longer" She held out her hand holding Fafnir. Free glanced at her hand before their eyes met again. He took his bey from her hand and Algería smiled. She said no more and went back to the Spanish team's campus. When she got there, she was finally tired. Back in her room, she snuggled under her covers and fell asleep peacefully.
The next day dawned and so the daily training continued. "As you know, the European Championship will start soon. This afternoon, through friendly matches, we will select the bladers who will represent our team in the first round. So make an effort." So the training was adapted for the championship. In addition to a number of stretching exercises, there were also 100 sprints. Run 100 times 100 meters. Most had already given up after 30. It was the 75 sprint and the three friends were getting out of breath too. Still, they kept going and while they had to put all their strength into those sprints, Free ran alongside them like it was the first lap. Was the boy even a human? "The last round. Stand up" Trad didn't let them breathe for a second. "I'll put everything in this start" "Yeah man" "On your mark" "3,2,1 Let it run" They ran. Valt and Honcho ran for their lives and although the two were among the fastest, Free was significantly faster. However, just before he got to Trad, someone ran past him. Behind their trainer, Free stopped in surprise when he saw the red-haired girl. She really put all her effort into that last sprint and it paid off. "That's it for today. We'll meet in the training hall at 3 p.m." "It's over already?" "Felt like 10 rounds" "I could use something to eat" "Oh yeah you said that" "Knowing Ange she's already cooked something delicious" Valt and Honcho sat up. "Do you think?" "Yes" The two jumped up. "Let's go eat" And they were gone. "That was probably the fastest they've run today..." Slowly, the others from the team also went to the dining room. "Are you from Algería?" Shasa looked at her. "I'll freshen up a little first" "All right." The blue-haired girl disappeared with her sister. Algería took a deep breath before standing up on shaky legs. She went back into the room she shared with Valt and Honcho. She took a quick shower and then changed into her everyday clothes.
After feeling fresh again, she also went to the dining room. They had a break of about 2 hours. "Shall we fight, Algí?" "How about you guys get changed and shower? Then we can fight for a few rounds if you like." "All right" Valt and Honcho disappeared into the dormitory while Algería made her way to the training hall. The place was packed with members of the club who preferred to rest during the break. She assumed Shasa, Honey and Kit were also in the training hall, which she was walking towards. Just before she entered, she could feel that look on her again. Looking to the side, she could see the deer looking at her expectantly. At first the girl just wanted to go to the training hall, but she didn't. It was like at night. She simply followed the deer and, like the night before, they arrived at the clearing. Unlike the night, Free wasn't there. She looked at the deer standing next to her. "Why... are you bringing me here?" The animal cocked its head to the side. Yes, it was stupid to ask a deer anything. "These animals don't trust easily" Algería turned around and stumbled backwards when she suddenly met black eyes. However, since the Babylon was behind her, she slammed her butt directly onto the ground. "Ow...did you have to sneak up like that?!" She rubbed her butt a little and then looked at him. He looked at her briefly before offering her his hand. Algería looked at it before standing up on her own and wiping the imaginary dust off her pants. "I didn't mean to scare you..." "But you did! Don't ever do that again!" Algería passed him. After all, she wanted to meet up with Valt and Honcho. "I want you to fight me again" Algería stopped and looked back. She hadn't expected that, but he seemed serious.
