Hope of A Dream

Laying in a room,
The thoughts that consume.
Some of peace and hope,
Others of force and no way to cope.

As the old clock ticks
The mind criticizes every nick.
From genetics to dependant
Every thought a descendant.

Watch your health!
Don't hold back wealth.
Hide under covers.
No matter what, help others.

When they're not born yet
Life matters, even though it's a bet.
Gender, a science-based field topic
Turned to mind the color-based pic.

The light goes out of the window
Darkness encloses me.
Dragged out of my head,
Then out of my bed,

I join the table of problems.
One based on emblems,
A couple of color change,
A place that becomes the stage.

As the food is passed around
The discussion goes homebound.
(The talk never placed on me,
Always about just letting me be.)

But as they talk and grow
I just sit here all for show.
The dish is empty, clean,
Go before the discussion turns mean.

Why must these nails be in my heels?
Why is there fighting for social ideals?
Go with the flow, rivers, and stream.
Let us, youngs, have hope of a dream.
