It was eleven in the morning and not a person was stirring. Only two people up, not including the fox. The stove was on, a delicious aroma wafting through the air. And all was peaceful, until-
'C R A S H'
Two sets of footsteps ran up the stairs, down the hall, and to the right. Reaching the door, which was closed. Opening it they found three bodies on the floor.
"What are you doing?" A pissed blonde asked.
"It was Menmas fault!" The ravenette and younger blonde exclaimed pointing at their brother.
"What!? No it wasn't!"
"Kawaki, finish breakfast for me, please."
"Yes sir." The teen replied, rushing down stairs to complete his task.
The blonde had turned to the three, slightly irritated.
"Sit down someplace, or go to bed."
"Yes sir." The trio muttered not wanting to upset him any further.Himiwari came into the room, stumbling slightly from sleep.
"What happened?" She mumbled, a yawn rising in her voice."Nothing, but breakfast is ready."
At the promise of food Himawari perked up, no longer tired. She ran down the stairs now smelling the food. The triplets ran along with her, all three avoiding their mothers gaze as they left the room.
Naruto followed after them knowing that Kawaki was waiting for them so they could eat. Once reaching downstairs, he sat at the table with everyone else as they all ate. While eating, he remembered-
'I have a date tonight!'
"You okay, mama?" Menma questioned, pulling him from his thoughts.
"Yeah! Just remembered I gotta go out tonight."
"Why? Do you have to go back to work?" Boruto asked, his eyes pleading no."It's nonya. And I don't go back till Monday."
"Only two days left!?" Himawari exclaimed, also upset about the news.
"Mom can't do anything about it, he has to go back to work." Kawaki chimed in, looking as melancholy as usual."Mom has a date with dad." Sarada said at random. Everyone then turned to stare at her, waiting for some type of explanation.
"I was packing my clothes and walked past the living room and heard dad ask mom out. They're going to dinner at seven. And mom spaced out earlier because he just remembered." She then went back to eating, not caring that she was being watched by the others.
"Does that mean you and papa are getting back together? And when can I meet him? Are we gonna stay in Konoha? What about aunt Hinata? Shes been gone for a while. Is aunt Karin gonna be okay without us? Can we marry Boruto off to Mitsuki? He'd be better off as a housewife. Ca-"
"Shut up, Menma." Kawaki snapped.
"To answer your questions, maybe. Another day. Yes. She's visiting her father. She's glad you're gone. If he pisses me off again, yes."
"Okay!"
"Huh! I don't wanna be someone's wife!"
"Too bad." "So sad." Sarada and Menma said, creating a flabbergasted Boruto.
"That's not fair! You all can't agree to this! Can you!?"
"Yes." "Mhm!" Added in Kawaki and Himawari.
Boruto slumped in his chair, desperately hoping that the next time he got in trouble everyone would have forgotten about this conversation. Sadly, he knew that was never going to happen. Himawari never forgets, and is a snitch at times.
