It was February 14th
As much as it is a romantic date, the city you lived in was still fearing 8-bit Virus, thinking that he might spoil the beautiful Valentine's Day, but it turned out he didn't show up.
You as his joyfriend, was wondering why 8-bit just didn't show up on that date, you know him, and you know he would love to steal a box of chocolates from a random couple on the street, but he just gave up, you had some ideas why he disappeared
One of them is that he let the city be happy for at least 1 day, something impossible, so you discarded that theory
He's busy coming up with attack ideas for the city
Or
He is preparing something for you
It was very likely that this was true, after all, it was Valentine's Day, and it was kind of the first he'd celebrate with someone.
Having that thought makes you smile, seeing how cute 8-bit is
You kept walking down the sidewalk with these thoughts, you became so focused on these thoughts that you forgot what was happening around you, dreaming about 8-bit
But you woke up when your arm was jerked into a dark alley
Your blood turned cold and your face went pale, you quickly looked at whoever pulled you when you were deep down in the alley
"WHA- WHO ARE YOU- mmmpf!"
You exclaimed to the figure, but your voice caught when the being placed its hand over your spout.
"Ohmygod shush shush!"
Your eyes wided, this voice, you sure recognize that voice and those green eyes
"What-" You slowly took his hand from your mouth "8-bit?" you asked
"In metal and wire!" He smiled, putting his hands on the waist
"What are you doing here? I thought you were busy"
"Well I was burdened with this whole routine of destruction and c-chaos and blah blah blah so I decided to take a break, at least on v-valentines day to be with you",
His words made your heart melt, he's quitting his whole hobby just to be with you, your cheeks got hot
"And guess what I brought!"
He said excitedly, stepping back and turning his back on you, as if he was grabbing something.
"Uh...generic valentine gifts like flowers and chocolate?"
8-bit stopped immediately, silence remained
"...yeah"
He turned to you, a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates in both of his hands
"Oh so that explains why that gift shop was robbed..."
"Yeah yeah..." 8-bit said with a sad tone
You couldn't help but laugh
"Pfff- 8-bit for God's sake it was a joke! Don't worry, as generic and clichéd this is I loved your gifts, better than nothing, right?"
You said giving him a sweet smile, placing your hands on his shoulders, trying not to get pierced by the thorns.
"Heh, yeah you right. By the way, since I can't go to public places like movie theaters and parks with you, uhhh... how about w-we go to your house and watch a movie?"
You immediately nodded

You and 8-bit were on your couch, 8-bit was taking over most of the couch because of his 4 legs, but obviously he left you some space
Packages of chips were strewn across the arms of the bed, and the two of you were silent, looking disgusted as the movie credits rolled, and there was no sign of light coming from the window
"...what the fuck was that movie" He commented
"It had so many scenes that didn't make sense..." You continued
The silence continued, but it was completely broken when 8-bit started laughing frantically.

You laughed too, but less frantically
"Heheh, yeah"
He continued to laugh, and slowly the laugh started to get lower and lower, and he slowly rested his head on you lap.
"ȟ̶̼͙̤͉̗̽̀͂̋͘̚͝e̵̝̮͎̣͚̐́̈́ḣ̸͙̲͓͎̺͔̺̰͕̜̬͛͂̅͂eh, thanks for today, heartbleed~"
You blushed and smiled, you did nothing but caress the side of his screen, practically his cheek, making the green machine blush too
"I would be the grateful one, I didn't imagine you'd spend Valentine's Day with me..."
"Damn, i'm not h-heartless y'know?"
"Heh sorry didn't mean to offend you"
You two spent a few seconds looking into each other's eyes, you mustered up your courage, and brought your lips closer to the screen of your beloved, He reciprocates the kiss openly, placing one of his hands on your cheek.
