''She loves me, she loves me not. She loves me, she loves me not. She loves me.."

I dreadfully sighed as the sunflower's petals that I ramdomly bought just for this stupidness ends up with what I expected.

She loves me not

I felt a pang of pain strucked my heart as soon as I plucked the last petal out. I guess this is what "truth hurts" meant.

"Yodaaaa!"

I turned around and watched someone running towards me. Someone responsible for my happiness and pain at the same time. It was her, my bestfriend, Chaeyeong.

"You are late. D'you even know what time is it, Chou Tzuyu?" Chaeyeong said

Guilty, I found myself shrugging off as I tried to escape from her stern looks and faced the other direction but she immediately stood right infront of me and looked at me with her tiger-like furious eyes.

She's mad and her eyes told me so but there's something about her madness that makes her looked so hot and it may sound crazy but I really found her madness sexy

God, what was I even thinking?! Pull yourself together,idiot!

"Tzuyu! Are you even listening? I asked you why are you late? Minari already left!" She furiously stated

Oh, she already left? What a relief. I don't have to face someone I don't want to just yet. Thank good heavens!

But hey,wait. Minari? Who's that?

"Wait, who's Minari?I thought I'd be meeting someone named—"

"God, Tzuyu. It's Mina,the one that I love! Where's your common sense?!" She exaggeratedly blurted out

I rolled my eyes. She didn't even have to utter those "the one I love" phrases everytime she talked about her but she always does and God,it sounded so gross.

The one that I love,my ass!

Come to think of it, I guess now now they're up to pet names already,huh. Tsk!

"Chou Tzuyu! I said why were you late?!" Damn, she just called me by my whole name. She's obviously mad.

"I-I'm sorry. I overslept.." I lied. I didn't and didn't even slept a bit knowing I'd be meeting the woman that'll eventually take her away from me.

Take away? From me? God, she's not even mine in the first place. I was just her friend.

I sighed in despair.

"Overslept? God,you sure knows how to annoy me,Tzuyu. Didn't I told you Minari wants to meet you?" she blabbered

"I'm sorry,chaeng. "  I apologized.

Well, Im not even that sorry. I did everything on purpose because I just don't like that woman at all especially after making chaeng cry not to mention she was literally a cheater!

Wait a minute..

"Chaeng, can I ask you something?" I asked

"You just did,yoda" she hissed coldly. I guess she's still mad

I rolled my eyes and tried to hold my temper. Cold chaeyeong is what I hate the most especially when it's towards me. I just felt so left out or something I can't explain.

"Okay,What's the real score between you and Mina?" I asked straight forwardly wishing for an immediate answer

"Well,we are friends. No, I mean we're more than friends but less than lovers,I guess.." She answered before bitting her lower lip as confussion starts to take place on her face

"Are you sure you're good with that? You're basically dealing with something that'll hurt you soon,chaeng. Isn't she someone's girlfriend? Chaeng, she's cheating and she's cheating with you and you even knew it, for fuck's sake!" I annoyingly said slowly letting my anger take over me

I can't help myself but to get mad.I just really don't want her to end up in a complicated situation and besides, everything about the two of them is wrong. That woman is a cheater and I so hate her!

"They already broke up,Tzu. Stop making it look like she's a cheater. And oh, the real cheater here was Jeongyeon. She cheated on Mina with that queen bee named Nayeon.." She explained and that shocked me more than the word itself

What the hell. I thought..

"Wait,what do you—"

"Look, Mina didn't cheat and I didn't even made anything for the them to call it quits. I met Minari a month after their break up. She just told me that she had a girlfriend back then to shove me away because she's afraid that I might hurt her like the way Jeogyeon,her ex girlfriend did. She's a pure hearted woman,Tzu. She didn't do anything wrong. She was just slowly trying to open her heart and maybe love again,Tzu. So, I'm asking you to give her a chance and get to know her. She's important to me and so you are that's why I wanted you guys to meet and be good friends,that's all,Tzuyu."

Fuck, did I just misjudged someone too much without even knowing her?

"I-I'm sorry,Chaeng. I really am.." embarassed, I looked away and apologized

"It's alright. I'm somehow at fault as well for not explaining things clearly to you as well that you ended up misunderstanding stuffs.." She said before weakly smiling

Slowly, the invisible wall of anger and tension between us melted.

"Still,I'm sorry—"

"Told you it's fine but please,give her a chance. I really like her,Tzuyu and this is the first time I adore someone this much.." She said with full sincerity that slowly gave a pang of pain in my chest

It is just so funny how I felt the same exact thing towards her, sadly she felt it towards another person. I guess our feelings were two parallel lines that won't meet each others no matter what happens

"Fine. I'll try my best,for you. Let me meet her tommorrow. " I faked a smile

"Really?thanks,Yoda!" Happy,she hugged me tightly as I ended up exaperately sighing.

I guess, I'm turning into a masochist. Hurting myself lately was becoming my new cup of tea.

Damn,goodluck with that,Miss greatest bestfriend of all time..
