Adora - Infected #1

Adora/She-Ra became infected with the virus from Entrapta's bots while trying to recruit her for the rebellion. When Glimmer fails to get the sword out of Adora's reach, it's up to you to stop your girlfriend attacking you. (You have super strength and telekinesis). 

Recruiting Princess Entrapta didn't exactly go as planned. The bots she created turned out to have a virus which caused them to go haywire. Entrapta activated her cleaning bot with the clap of her hands which is why I say her bots have a virus, for it attacked us instead of performing it's... duties? Entrapta told us she was using a First Ones data disc when fiddling around with her bots. 

As it attacked us, Adora turned into She-Ra with those famous words, "For the honour of Grey Skull!" It amazes me every time she transforms. However, when she used her sword to destroy the bot, something happened to her. She began attacking us too. It happened as soon as her sword touched the virus infected bot. But why? Her sword isn't made from technology... it's just a magical sword. Tech and magic are two completely different things. 

I was so deep in thought about why Adora/She-Ra became infected that I hadn't registered her about to drive her sword at me. It wasn't until I saw the crazy look on her face that I clicked on that I needed to move or better yet, get the sword out of her hands. Glimmer seems to have gotten the same idea as she's already wrestling her for it. "Come on Adora, snap out of it!" She yells at her. Instead, she throws Glimmer off her and sends her flying across the room. My turn. Is it bad I've always wanted to fight my girlfriend in She-Ra form? I have super strength and telekinesis so I am perfectly capable of retrieving it. 

Without hesitating, I jump on her shoulders causing her to lose balance but she doesn't fall to the ground like I'd hoped. I tend to not use my telekinesis unless it's a last resort because it means using more power which makes me exhausted, like Glimmer except I don't have to recharge. But while Adora or should I say, She-Ra, is distracted trying to throw me off her, I manage to grab her hand that holds the sword. For a moment I think I am going to get it off her. But she ends up throwing me against a wall which knocks the wind out of me and really hurts my back. 

There's no choice now. I need to get that sword... even if it means using my other power. I spread out my hand and aim it towards her. It takes a lot of concentration which is why it is such an exhausting ability. Concentration isn't exactly one of my strongest suits but it's something I am working on. Anyway, with my concentration at it's strongest point, I am just able to get the sword out of her hand and fly it over to me and catch it easily. Once the sword is out of her hand, she immediately turns back into her normal form instead of She-Ra. But it seems the effects of the virus has done a number on Adora as she's acting like a drunk person. 

Now while we may have managed to stopped She-Ra attacking us, I can't say the same for Entraptra's bots. We've been hiding from them until we can figure out how to stop them. It's kind of hard to be silent right now though with Adora acting all drunk and dopey. She keeps saying random things and very loudly too. "Love, if you don't keep quiet those bots will find us and probably kill us." I whisper to her still holding her. "Kill us? I can just transform! For th-the p-power of...!" Her words were slurred but before she could even say the last part, she falls asleep on my shoulder. Great. Just great. At least if she did finish what she was saying she couldn't have transformed anyway since Glimmer now has hold of her sword. I mean, I couldn't carry her and her sword so it made sense. 

Eventually, Bow managed to use his arrows to destroy the data disc Entrapta used on the bots which shut them down. Thank god. Not only did it shut down the bots but Adora seemed to be back to her normal self too. Thanks to Bow everything is back to normal including my girl. We even managed to get not only Entrapta to join the rebellion, but also some kitchen staff which Bow has yet to explain to us how he came across them. But what matters is, we have more fighters for the rebellion and I have my girlfriend back. And yes, I am going to tease her till the end of time about her drunken phase.
