"Morning how can I help you?" the receptionist asked, like everyone she was dressed in darkish uniform even for just sitting in the entrance of a police station all day every day.
"I had a call this morning, I have no idea who called me but they needed to ask me a few questions as they couldn't do it over the phone and asked me to come in?" Brea explained, expecting her to be confused and not have a clue what Brea was talking about, however the change in the womans expression disproved her and showed that she did indeed know was going on and probably why, while Brea stood there oblivious to everything and whether she would even be going home today at this point.
"Ah yes, I was informed by Mr Jung himself, let me page him quickly to come get you." She motioned for Brea to take a seat as she picked up the phone and began to ring.
Mr Jung? Rose's father? The one that her mind wouldn't let go off? It couldn't be, he always turned up in what looked a business man's wear not a police uniform.
Just as her mind began to run marathons in her brain trying to untwist a puzzle that could be very easily solved with conversation, her attention was taken over as a man came up to her and said her name, Mr Jung? Maybe it was a different one as the man in front of her was definitely not who she had associated that name with.
"Miss Rin?" they said with a polite tone.
"Yes that's me." she replied, picking up her bag and standing up to be more level with them, even if he was only a few inches taller than her.
"I was asked by Mr Jung to come get you I'm Officer Park or Officer Jimin whatever you prefer, are you ready?" He asked kindly standing to the side giving her space as she nodded in response, following closely behind him as he directed her through the building, Brea knew for sure if she didn't have him right now she would definitely be lost and would not be able to leave this place without help either.
Eventually they made it to a door that looked like an investigation room, was this where they always questioned criminals?
Why was she here as far as was concerned she had never done anything wrong in the eyes of the law."May I ask why I am here?" Brea questioned, tired of following orders like a lost puppy and not even knowing why she was here or anything at all.
"You have connections with people we have been trying to get for a long time and we need to ask you some questions, you're not in trouble, that is as long as you tell the truth though." Officer Jimin explained, opening the door motioning for her to go in and sit down where she was quickly presented with the man himself.
Jung Hoseok.
So it was him, after all this it was him and he was in uniform? Does he live double lives or something? She pondered in her thoughts.
"Miss are you okay?" Officer Park asked as Officer Jung was too engrossed in reading the paper infront of him than the person, her, at hand."Yes I am thank you." she reassured him, realising she had been slightly hesitant to sit down and her brain had started churning and clocking the pieces together slowly, slowly but surely.
"Okay Officer Jung here will be the one asking you questions while I stand in that room there, nothing to be scared off, if it helps pretend you are talking to one of your friends and they are the ones sitting there and not Officer Jung there."
"Okay" Brea reassured again.
Pretend one of her friends was there? How was that meant to help. He was one of her students fathers how was she meant to imagine that at all, she couldn't and straight up refused to aswell.
Before she knew it, she heard the door behind her shut as Officer Jimin left the room, he was nice and good looking she thought to herself, at least he was nice for now she didn't wanna think what he was like when he was mad, probably not great.
"You ready?" Office Jung asked before proceeding to ask the unanswered questions at hand.
"As ready as I'll ever be." Brea replied with a smile hoping it would life the atmosphere a little bit, it was dark and unnerving which was only making her more scared and nervous as time went on, she needed to make it a bit lighter somehow.
"You have humour I like it anyway let's get started." he chucked in response, slightly hitting the table with the paper adn she aligned them up in his hands.
His hands, God his hands, Brea hadn't noticed until now but this man had been blessed with some of the best looking hands, she didn't even think she liked hands but his hands, they were everything she wanted them but she couldn't and she desperately needed to snap out of this otherwise she was never going to be able to focus.
"Okay so first question... WHAT." He screamed through the window as Officer Park began to bang loudly on the soundproof screen between us, you couldn't see much but just enough to make out a few movements, and those motions indicating he was needed a second just before he could probably start this questioning that at this rate was going to take all day.
"Hold on I'll be back." He apologised, before quickly making his way out of the room leaving me alone to do nothing just stare at a blue wall alone with my ever lasting thoughts and unlucky for her were all him and being in this room and him questioning her was not helping at all.
"Right I'll ask again are you ready?" He huffed out as Officer Jung walked back into the room only a few minutes later placing him back on his seat putting his paper back down that he ahd taken with him, making Brea jump slightly not expecting him to talk so suddenly pulling her out of her transe.
What was on that paper? The questions? Details about why she was here? Probably and she was sure that she was about to find out.
"Sorry did I make you jump?"
"Yeah its okay though let's start or i'll be here all day." Brea joked, clicking her fingers to distract herself which he quickly picked up but decided to understandingly not point out.
"Honestly at this rate you will anyway let's start." He joked back, probably the only time she was going to get a joke out of him for a while now.
All day? Was it that bad? More importantly how did it involve her? She knew no one literally no one.
All she wanted was answers, and answers now.
Don't forget to vote or he'll start wanting you to ;)
