"I am going to start off with a personal question or well a statement that I shouldn't be asking but I only will, as I know only Officer Park is in there and we are close so I'm not bothered," Officer Jung states, looking intently at Brea who looked as if she could pop at any second from nerves.
"I know you are Roses's teacher and you probably weren't going to but please don't tell her anything or anyone." Officer Jung pleads.
He stared at her like she was that kind of person, Brea knew she wasn't, if she was to tell anyone it would only be her friend group and she knew they were secure, they had been all these years nothing was going to change now.
"Wasn't planning to, don't worry." Brea reassures, putting her hands on the table clasped together, trying to relax herself and Officer Jung who looked just as uncomfortable as she did.
What made her confused though was why would he be uncomfortable, this is what he does on a daily basis, she was just like every other servilian out there, what was brewing behind the scenes that made everything seem so much worse?
"First off, we are aware of your friends calling once before, a year ago I believe if I am correct?"
"I believe you are, I think it may have been Waan but I'm not entirely sure it was too long ago." Brea confesses, she knew what the rules were of the group, especially since Hisoki and all his filthy business walked into their lives, until he was out she would have to lie, only problem was, her lying skills were good, but her bluffing was a whole other story.
"That's what we have here, well good that's a good start." He mumbled under his teeth, just enough for Brea to catch it.
As time went on she could tell he was starting to get irritated but she had no idea what it was? Was it her? The case? Home? Who knows but unless it was her she honestly didn't care, dont her get wrong she was interested but knew it was probably not her place.
"Another before I get right into it, cause when I do I'm jumping in deep."
"Right?" She slurred, she would have been better if this man didn't act so odd, but here she was internally doing breathing exercises trying not to cause her own scene when she just wanted to leave as soon as possible.
"Are you sure you don't remember seeing a familiar figure, often dressed in black, we thought you had seen them and recognised them at least thats what they said, detective looking like in a way?" He questioned, tilting his head to the side as if he was trying to read Brea's brain that was now scrambled trying to think of anything, she saw people all the time she worked in school she wasn't going to remember that was for sure, and if she had seen him she was sure ot never occurred to her that he may be watching her or one of her friends for some reason.
"I know I have already been asked this question and my answer remains the same I haven't however if that's one of your prime answers you want I can probably do a few calls if you want."
"Don't worry that won't be necessary." He said very sternly, startling Brea who was not expecting for him to suddenly go so cold.
"So friend's with Dawah yes?"
"Yes."
"So does she have any involvements or knowledge of the man Hisoki?"
Hisoki? Hisoki? What kind of name was that? She thought. As far as she was concerned she had never heard that name. She was half expecting Jae-eon I mean that was him name, that's what she had always known him as and knew he had trouble with them but Hisoki? Who the fuck is that? It can't be Jae-eon the names sound too different.
"Hisoki?" Brea questioned, her face suddenly changing expression, her eyebrow raised, a clear confusion taking over a face, hoping they wouldn't think she was faking, surely if they had a detective they knew all these answers why did they need her to answer them? Confirmation or what?
"I have never heard that name in my life, who even is that?"
"You sure you don't know?"
"Positive." she snapped back, she didn't mean to snap but being confined to one room with no windows she was starting to lose her mind without even realising it.
"Alright well I don't wanna be that person but in that case I need to show you something, we have footage leading to what we can only assume of you, both being at the same place and the same time are you sure you don't know him?" Mr Jung asked again, as if he was testing her despite her already telling as much truth as she could, pulling out a laptop she didn't evem realise was there.
Together? She doesn't even know a Hisoki let alone be in the same room? As far as she was concerned she had nothing to lose, she was in the right she knew it but what did they have on her and more importantly everyone else for him to be challenging her so much?
"I'm sure, I mean show me and maybe I can identify him but I can't promise anything."
"Anything is something, always remember that." He replied, looking her dead in the eyes as if she was meant to unfold the puzzle he was indirectly telling her.
Before she could even ask any of her questions that had been building up in her head, he swung the laptop around and pressed play on the video showing nothing but Dawa's apartment car park.
"He is about to exit the car, watch carefully," He advised, clearly watching her as closely as he could to see if there was anything she wasn't saying or if he was saying the truth.
After a few seconds, a car door suddenly opened, presenting noone but the one and only Jae-eon, her eyes widened at the sight, quickly watching Officers' attention.
So it was Jae-eon she thought to herself. Well nice to know he has double name that she was sure telling Luna about was clearly not a good idea, finding out on her own was for sure a better idea.
"Jae-eon?" She half whispered, not really trying to make him hear or not.
"Jae-eon, is that the name you know him by?" He questioned sternly, a strong serious tone matching hsi facial expression plastered across his face.
"Yess Yesss ittt isss." She slurred, she had no idea why, but her brain started to go blank while her eye sight began to go, her speech now also being affected.
"Miss are you okay, you look like you are going to faint, JIMIN GET IN HERE."
And with that, she fainted,
And for her luck a little too long too.
