Izuku Midoriya was born into an average living, to say the least. His mother Inko held a normal 9 to 5 job in sales. Or at least until he was brought in and she devoted her time to being a housewife. The man whom she was married to, Hisashi, worked in a similar aspect, except as a higher up in IT. The small family made just enough to comfortably get by and afford a relatively nice apartment in a calm neighborhood.
Izuku hit the milestones of a toddler at a decent pace. He was walking and talking at- if not above -the rate of other kids his age. He had already begun the basics of reading and had a keen interest in learning. It was obvious to the Midoriyas that their child was bright, sparking the hope that he may have an Intellectual quirk.
As he reached the end of his toddler age, Inko started to grow concerned. Her boy was a bit hesitant about making friends. Hisashi quickly wrote it off as Izuku just being reserved. Though, Hisashi himself was worrying about other things he wouldn't dare bring to light.
Izuku soon started attending nursery school and his intelligence was once again noticed. The teachers upped his work and pushed him, seeing how far he could go. The boy never once complained and continued to try his best.
Bakugo Katsuki was the name of the new student. He had an explosion for hair and for a personality. Izuku was never prone to hanging around loud and brash kids. He kept his distance, respectfully of course. Bakugo realized this and didn't take it so kindly. The boy made it his mission to make Izuku's school time- miserable.
At the end of his nursery school days, Izuku was brought into the doctors to be tested for a quirk. His mother held no doubt and assured him multiple times that he would have a good quirk. Hisashi on the other hand, had a ragged and nervous look about him. The doctors proceeded to exaray his foot, only to report back that he would have no quirk. His father pushed further and Izuku underwent a plethora of tests for mental quirks. In the end they could only supply that he did in fact have an underlying quirk, but it had an extremely low chance of ever being usable.
Hisashi tended to stray further away from his family. He was spending less and less time at home, until one day, he just never came back. Izuku wasn't stupid, he knew that it was his fault. Granted, an uncontrollable fault, but his none of the less. His mom suffered the worst from this, having to pick up multiple jobs and overwork herself. Izuku slowly realized his mom was losing her grasp on sanity and her life.
During elementary school he remained top of his class. Everyday, he would be told how useless he was for not having a quirk, not only by Bakugo, but the other students and staff. He was still being pushed in a scholarly manner, but it wasn't the same. The teachers were piling on busy work, Izuku hated busy work.
It was in the fourth year of elementary school that Bakugo's words turned violent. He started with just a punch, soon enough, explosions painted the greenite's skin. It was this year the boy decided to learn self defense. He knew his mom was too poor to pay for lessons, so he would go on hero tube and try to learn that way.
In his final year of elementary school, he realized he had to hold back and hide his intelligence. He still remained in the top few of his class, but didn't have to do an excessive amount of work. He studied on his own after school, making sure to balance training with it. He had a knack for martial arts and learned quickly along with gaining some muscle. Izuku never overdid it, keeping his age and body in mind.
Middle school was a rather interesting first year. At first, Izuku figured out what he wanted to do with his life. He had always considered heroes to be more of a public figure than a defender. Most of the people around him called him old fashioned for his views, which didn't change his ambitions one bit. He wanted to try for law and actually supply the world with some sort of defense.

أدب الهواةHindsight is 20/20, but foresight is so much more. When you pair that with a youngster wannabe detective, things are bound to get interesting. Or, Naomasa's intern is giving him grey hairs.
