CHAPTER 3

Venus ran as fast as he could,

He was tired but he could not stop

The storm roared and screamed

And the rain got even stronger

The fog got thicker, hiding the scared boy in it's embrace,

He didn't know where he went, the only things guiding him are the wind and trees

He ran for what felt like hours, not realizing that he only ran for half an hour,

He stopped when he felt like they weren't following him,

He wanted to hide, for those people would find him if he stayed here,

That's when he saw the strange small building with the even stranger iron door,

He walked towards it, his backpack still in his shoulder,

He grabbed the handle to open the door,
The door was unlocked,

He swinged it open, cringing at the creeking sound that the rusting door made,

He entered the building, and realized how dark it was inside,

The only thing that lit it was the moonlight that seeped through despite the thick trees sourounding the area,

He went to his backpack, searching for a flashlight,

He found it, and turned it on, lighting the way through,

He closed the door behind him, he wasn't sure why,

Probably because he wanted to hide,

He walked around the room, searching for anything significant,

Wood, more wood, rocks, metal, and even more wood,

and a weird box,

He walked to the weird box and tried to open it, finding that it was locked,

He grabbed a random metal rod he found in a pile,He then tried to open the box using it, but it didn't work,

He then remembered his lock pick kit that martin bought for him as a gift, and teached him how to use it, what a weird gift,

C'mon man, focus !!

He got it from his backpack, and tried to use it how he learned from his friend,

It took a couple of tries, but it worked,

He opened the box, finding a big red gem and
an old small book, both of them being accompanied by dirt,

He closed the box and put it inside his backpack, along with the lock pick kit,

He saw a flight of stairs, that looked old and way too unsteady,

He decided to go up those stairs because he wanted to see what's up there despite the stairs looking like it would collapse at any given second,

Well he was curious, can you blame him,

He walked slowly up the stairs,

First step, second step, the third step, fourth step--

The bottom part of the stairs collapsed like a they were made of paper,

He fell on his back with a painful thud, hissing in the process from the pain on his back

The flashlight fell with the sound of a crack, scaring him in the process,

He quickly got up and went to where the flashlight fell,
