"It's a pity I can't take a picture of this place..."
Takemichi lamented, gazing around the stunning forest.
He wished he could share the beauty with his friends, especially Chifuyu, who had an insatiable love for manga.
"But... what are we doing here?"
Takemichi asked the snakes, even though he knew they couldn't respond with words.
Their intelligence suggested they might understand him, though.
The white snake glanced at Takemichi and then slithered away, returning moments later with a stick clutched in its tail. Takemichi watched with a mix of confusion and curiosity.
The snake pointed the stick at the ground, and Takemichi's eyes widened with realization.
"Ohh! You're going to write to answer me?!"
He exclaimed, his excitement palpable.
The white snake nodded in affirmation.
"Cool!"
Takemichi marveled at how the snakes seemed to understand him.
"Maybe they're magical creatures! But they look so normal..."
He shook off his surprise and refocused on the task at hand. His gaze drifted to the red and pink snakes. The red one seemed indifferent, while the pink one appeared somewhat excited, though both kept their distance.
Takemichi turned back to the white snake, eager for its response. However, his enthusiasm waned when he saw the message written in an unfamiliar script.
"....... Ammm... I can't understand any of it"
He muttered to himself, relieved that no one else was around to hear his frustration.
He quickly remembered his [Communication Language] skill.
"Wait, I'll use my [Communication Language]!"
Takemichi activated the skill from his [Status] screen.
"Done!"
He declared, looking back at the message on the ground.
He attempted to decipher the text, but before he could make sense of it, a powerful tail struck him from behind, sending him flying several meters away.
