Vi x Reader (Arcane: LoL)

Jinx

VI'S POV..

     We started walking to the bridge, Caitlyn and Hart not far behind me. I sped up to catch up with Ekko, but I noticed Hart walking slower than the rest of us. She was looking around as if she was looking for someone. 

     "Hart." I said, grabbing her attention. "You okay?"

     "I'm fine, Violet." She said and caught up with us quickly. "Something just doesn't feel right."

     I brushed my hand against hers by accident, but I didn't mind. Her on the other hand.. she moved right away. She moved to the side a little bit, but her confident walk stayed the same. She wore the same irritated look on her face, and I will admit, it made her a hell of a lot more intimidating. I watched the way her hips swayed side to side, it was hypnotizing...

     While Ekko was trying to consult with the enforcers, a ton of firelights started flying up to us. I saw Hart furrow her brows at them, then her expression suddenly changed to a more panicked one.

YOUR POV..

     I looked at the firelights suspiciously, then noticed the ticking sound coming from them. My eyes widened with panic.

     "Everybody down!" I yelled out, and got to the ground. It was too late, the bombs had already exploded.

     I lifted my head up, wiping the blood from my head. I stood up shakily, then let out a breath. I closed my eyes for a moment, then I remembered.. Ekko. Suddenly, the adrenaline was back and the pain was gone. I ran around looking for Ekko like a crazy person. I couldn't lose him. I saw Vi get up and pick Caitlyn up from the corner of my eye, then a voice caught my attention.

     "Hart?" Ekko said, coming out from the dust. He coughed, but other than that he was untouched. "Are you okay?"

     "I'm fine, don't worry about me. Are you okay?" I said. He nodded his head and we began walking over to Vi and Caitlyn. The adrenaline was wearing off, and the pain was quickly coming back. 

     As we got to Vi and Caitlyn, a voice from behind stopped us. My head started hurting and everything started to go blurry, so Ekko gave me to Vi. Vi wiped the blood off of my forehead, and put her arm around me. I didn't need any help. I shrugged her arm off, and surprisingly maintained a confident stance. I was breathing heavily, as it hurt to breathe in and out. I couldn't really make out anything that was in front of me, but I noticed something teal. Jinx. 

     "Vi, take them and go." Ekko said to Vi. She nodded and grabbed my hand. I jerked my hand away from her.

     "No way. I'm not leaving you, Ekko." I said as everything became more clear, and I ignored the stabbing pain in my head. "I can't lose you. You're the last thing I have left." I said, tearing up slightly.

     "Hart, these past years you have devoted your life to protecting me. It's time I do the same." Ekko said. I smiled slightly, then I began to speak again. "Hart. Please." He said. I blinked slowly, and pulled him in for a tight hug. I let a tear roll onto his shoulder, and he let me go. I turned around and started walking with Vi.

     Suddenly, a loud explosion goes off behind us. I turn around and see the spot that Ekko was in covered in flames. I let out a loud yell, and I start running towards it. I strong pair of arms grabs me from behind and stops me from going.

     "Hart! You need to stop!" Vi says behind me. My strength slowly dies out as I sob in her arms.

VI'S POV..

     It was hard watching her get so emotional over him. Seeing her cry wanted made me want to cry. I will admit, I did tear up a bit, but not too much. I couldn't be weak right now. I picked Caitlyn up and began walking again. I saw Hart walking fine, but she was holding her head. Tears were flowing out of her eyes uncontrollably. I frowned at the sight, but I just continued walking.

     I was boosting Caitlyn up to her house and into her room, then I looked over at Hart.

     "I don't need help, thank you though." She said with a small smile. She walked in front of me, then pulled herself up to Caitlyns room with ease. I smirked, surprised at the fact that she just did that with her injuries. I hopped up behind her, and saw her sitting on the bed. I got to Caitlyn, and helped her walk. Suddenly, someone barges into the room with a gun.

     "A word, Caitlyn?" Her mother asks. She walks out with her mom, and shuts the door. I turn to face Hart, and shes crying silently on the bed. I sit down next to her and she doesn't look at me. I grab her face softly, and wipe the tears off of her. She stares into my eyes for a moment, then tackles me onto the bed. She hugs me tightly, and I hug back. I give her a gentle kiss on the cheek, and I feel her hug tighter.
