Why am I even here?

Will I always be so trivial?

There's nothing to hold me together,

No one to kiss my tears away.

Desolated by the world around,

She had given up on herself.

Worthless, lying on the ground,

The relentless world crashing down to her.

A match struck in the dark,

There he was to cure a blue heart.

Held her tight, gave her all the love,

A light of hope, he was warm.

Yet again, she started doubting her faith,

How could I be so fortunate?

I love you my darling, I need you too,

To get me through this world, I've chosen you.

I'm here not only for you,

I'm here for my selfish needs too.

A need to hold such beauty in my arms.
