In a world that can get crazy
Where values often go astray
It’s easy to forget what counts
As we struggle through each day
But sometimes on the road of life
You get to meet someone who cares
Who remembers what does matter most
The love and laughter that they share
They know nothing’s more important
Than the love that’s left behind
Making someone feel they’re cherished
Building loving ties that bind
All their special loved ones
Reside deep within their heart
Yet they always share the pieces
So everyone can have a part
You are that special someone
Who only comes once in a while
And I feel blessed to know you
Because you make me smile
