Chapter 11: Bar Date with Chungha

Time: 1715

Y/N's POV

Today was another exhausting day with a long flight patrol and we found nothing out of the ordinary. At least, I don't have to write up or file reports as much compared to capturing a convict.

I get done filing up the last paperwork and changed out of my flight suit before changing into civilian clothes. I exit the base and get inside my car.

Not going to lie, I was expecting one of the girls to show up at my car but I guess that's going to be for another time. But when I looked at the dashboard, I was not expecting to see a sticky note. 

"What the?" I said to myself before taking the sticky note and reading the contents.

"Hey, Y/N~! 

It's me Kim Chungha, I'm afraid I cannot tell you the details of our date in person cause I'm pretty busy right now but our date will be at the Arnold's Beach Bar in Honolulu. At 8:00 PM. I'll be waiting at the entrance for you. Until then, have a good rest of your day~!

Love, Chungha ;)." 

Well, looks like I said too soon. Anyway, I turn on the car, exit the base's parking lot, and drive myself back to my house. When I arrived, I park inside the garage and relax from the long grueling day.

Now, I love my job keeping the skies safe and all but it's a pretty big responsibility, and not only that, I have to attend many jury cases and such because of some dumbos doing something that they shouldn't be doing.

Aish, but everything has a price, right?

After sitting on the couch for a bit, I head upstairs to my room and go into the closet where my safe full of guns is located. I put in the combination by manipulating the turning the dial which puts in the combination. 

Once that was done, I opened the steel door which revealed my service M4 Carbine with an ACOG sight, laser/flashlight attachment, and a vertical grip. A Benelli M4 shotgun, a vintage Luger PO8, and that's about it. 

I put my M9 Beretta inside the pistol holder and take the Luger out along with a couple of magazines to go with it. Today, I'm going to use my Luger, even though it's old, it can still get the job done. 

Next, I close the safe and spun the dial to lock the safe, I put the Luger on my desk, and grab an ammo box from my closet containing 9mm ammunition. I take each round out and put it inside the three magazines. 

When I got done with that, I insert one of the magazines inside the Luger before cocking it and put it inside my conceal carry holster. I take the two spare magazines and put them inside my pants. 

I looked at the clock and saw that I needed to leave the house to arrive at my date with Chungha on time, I don't wanna find out what happens if I'm late...

Anyway, I put on an Adidas jacket and zip it before descending downstairs, grabbing my keys, and going inside the garage. I open the door to get inside the driver's seat and turn on the engine. The garage doors open and I put the gears into reverse before making my way out of the garage into the road.

It took me about twenty-five minutes to arrive at the bar. I parked in the parking lot that is the closest to the bar, get out, and locked the doors with my keys. 

I walked the rest and there I met Chungha wearing a dress.

"Ah, there you are, Y/N~! You're just on time!" Chungha greeted me.

"Yeah, who would want to be late on a date with a vampire, right?" I joked and she giggled.

"Of course, nobody would want to," Chungha replied to me.
