3rd person Pov:
"Sweetie..." Bakugo said, cuddling up to his husband, gripping his waist and pulling him close.
"What now Kacchan?" Izuku answered, leaning against his lover.
"Mhm... You know how Hatsume created the time machine, that takes you into the past?" Izuku nodded. "She's been looking for test subjects and I was wondering whether you'd be interested."
Izuku tensed up a little and turned to look at his husband properly. He admired him carefully, looking up into Bakugo's shining red eyes. He could see that he was awaiting an answer. Izuku hung his head and rested it on Bakugo's chest. He often found it annoying that he was a head shorter than Katsuki due to the fact he got teased about it.
"Babe... are you thinking about it?" Katsuki whispered, close to Izuku's ear. He blushed, feeling his husband's warm breath and burnt scent so vividly and closely.
"Yeah. The time travel thing... is it safe?" Izuku asked, listening to Bakugo's drumming heartbeat.
"Pretty sure, but that's why she needs test subjects. She's experimented with animals and it's all worked perfectly, if that makes you feel any safer about it." He answered in the softest voice he could manage.
"Do you think I'd be okay if I did choose to go?" Izuku asked.
Bakugo looked at him as though he was joking. "Of course you'll be okay, sh*tty nerd. You're the No1 pro-hero. You're even better than me."
"What about you and the kids?" Izuku asked, staring up at him.
For the first time, Deku didn't receive an instant answer. Bakugo swallowed the lump forming in his throat. He smiled, but it wasn't the genuine smile Izuku often saw. It was a quick, probably fake smile.
"Well, we'd all miss you. Me most of all, but that can't be helped. I missed you enough when you were on leave at work and we didn't see each other. If I didn't see you at all then... I don't know, but if you were away long enough, I'd be depressed. And the kids as well... you're clearly Izumi's favourite and she'd miss you a lot. Haru... I just couldn't deal with his crying all the time. I know he's still a brat but you deal with him most of the time and I'm not good with brats so... it would be awkward. It would just depend on how long you were gone for..." Bakugo said, his voice getting quieter and quieter as he spoke.
"Awh... you do care after all..." Izuku said, standing on tiptoes to kiss him on the cheek.
"What kind of husband would I be if I didn't care?" Bakugo responded, answering to Izuku kissing his cheek by pressing their lips together firmly, kissing him.
"Not a very good one," Izuku mumbled, deepening the kiss.
2 minutes passed until Izuku pulled away, breathless. "We're not having another, Kacchan. No way." ((another kid, not another kiss. I promise you, there's gonna be plenty of those))
"I-I wasn't thinking about that..." Katsuki said, receiving a raised eyebrow from Izuku. "I'm serious, Deku. I don't want another kid either-"
He was interrupted by Haru just starting to cry. It was quiet at the moment, thank goodness, but wouldn't be if he was left for a while.
"You see my point?" Bakugo said. Izuku nodded.
"We'll continue this conversation later, Kacchan." He said, walking to Haru's bedroom.
Five minutes later, Izuku walked up to Katsuki holding Haru. Haru was just able to have a tantrum. "You try! I can't get him to stop crying. I've tried everything and the only conclusion I've come up with is that he wants you." Izuku said, grimacing at Bakugo.
"All right, my go." Bakugo said, taking Haru in his arms. He immediately quietened his crying but didn't stop. "What'd you want, eh? Cuddles? Seriously, you're as bad as Deku." he said, somehow making him stop crying. He held him carefully, remembering how to hold him properly, to support his head. "Life lessons with Bakugo: how to shut a brat up." he said, winking at Izuku.
"I know it's been a lifelong thing for you but can you not call all children brats, Kacchan? I mean, you have two yourself. They surely can't be that bad."
"Hah. No way, nerd."
Izuku sighed, turning his attention to Haru. He had fallen asleep. "Are you gonna put him to bed or shall I?" he asked Bakugo, looking up at him.
"Don't worry yourself, nerd. I'll do it." Bakugo answered, smiling at his husband.
"Thanks Kacchan..." Izuku replied, gratefully.
Bakugo came back downstairs. Haru was all tucked up in his crib and a soft sound of footsteps was being heard.
"Kacchan, did you wake Izumi up?" Izuku asked, running his hand through his hair.
"I don't think so. Why?" Katsuki answered.
"Yes, you did, silly Kacchan." Izuku said.
He met his daughter at the bottom of the stairs and greeted her. She looked upset; her eyes were red and her face read an expression of horror.
"Are you okay, sweetie?" Izuku asked, his arms outstretched. She hugged him for a little while.
"I-I had a nightmare..." she said, trembling. Izuku picked her up, carrying her to their sofa. He sat her down, next to Kacchan. He sat down on the floor next to her and smiled up at her.
"What happened in your nightmare?" he asked.
"Big monster... scary... lots of teeth... and blood... I don't like blood." she mumbled, loud enough for Izuku to hear.
"Did the monster do anything to you?" he asked.
"Hurt me... and you and daddy. Not waking up..."
From the sound of it, in her nightmare, there was a really big monster who hurt her and made him and Bakugo unconscious. Well, that wasn't very accurate. Bakugo would probably blow him up, and even if he didn't, it was nothing he couldn't deal with.
He pulled her close, hoping this would be a comfort to her. She cried into her father's chest until she was asleep, but she didn't look at rest. She was probably dreaming about the monster. He laid her down on the sofa, covered with an old pink blanket, from her newborn days.
"Don't be too loud, Kacchan." Izuku whispered. "I... might do it. I think I am going to travel back in time. I've bonded with both the kids and you need to as well. It would test our relationship as well, see how durable we are. Yeah, I'm doing it." He said quietly.
Bakugo smiled at him. "It's your choice, Deku. Don't let me influence your choice too much. But if you want my opinion, I think that's brilliant. You're right in everything you said. Go show them little midgets how awesome my husband is!" Bakugo said, far too loudly. Haru started to cry loudly and Izumi woke up, her hands covering her ears, so she wouldn't hear her brother's angry crying. Izuku glared at his husband for waking them up, but secretly he was thrilled that he had permission.
