Apologies for a bit of a really short chapter but next will make up for it, anyway I think this might have turned out alright in fact. That might just be me though but I hope you will continue on till the end of this story at least. I'll always be around and happy to talk or explain things in more of a way, also if you like the cover photo of Rilessa Hale let me know? :)

I love comments or favourites, followers and subscribing. Appreciate it and Cookies!!

Lana: Thank you for sticking with me through this, I hope I make my father proud as he knew about my writing and was really surprised but happy for me. <3

Disclaimer: I most certainly do not claim to own the magnificent Teen Wolf, except Riley. I've had her original female character in my mind since I first watched Teen Wolf feels so long ago now. Thank you Jeff Davis and everyone else who helped make this series onto the tv screen. One of my favourite tv series ever.

Last thing, thank you Roseycastner77 for being my first comment and favourite on Fanfiction. I really appreciate you and the time you took to read this story. :)

A/N: Fac verba nostra inaudita. - Make our words be unheard.

Chapter Nine-

At some point we went into the school bus to sleep the furthest we could get from the Motel. I couldn't sleep images of the flames haunting my dreams when I would try to shut my eyes, "what happened when you were gone?" I had been so focused on the darkness of night I didn't sense someone coming up from right behind me, inhaling as my head snapped to the left. Scott McCall was standing right there in the flesh, sliding into the front seat of the bus beside me.

"Fac verba nostra inaudita." I said raising my hand curling my fingertips down making a fist, "it's so we don't wake them while we talk. It's called purgatory where I was Scott, between life and death. The tree had to hold me between the two for it to show me the truth and what's coming. You and Stiles said its name during the drive." Glancing back to Scott as I pulled my attention away from the driver's window he had a sad look over his face which switched to confusion and finally to realisation with an inhale of his breath.

"The Darach." As he said the words the air got colder and I was leaning into him before I realised what I'd done. He went stiff, surprised by the movement but he didn't push me away either.

Meeting his brown eyes I truly studied my old friend noticing the changes over the years since we were children, "I want to give you some advice. You're a True Alpha for a reason, even if it feels like you're wrong or failing. You keep being strong for yourself and the pack." Stilling at the shift in the air I heard the shriek before I felt the power of it. The Darach.

Barely switching Scott and I around in the seats there was a shrill choking sound coming from behind when I fell to my knees. I lifted my head, hair thrown backward as I met frightened greeny brown eyes. "Riley!" Lydia screamed as darkness overwhelmed my vision. It happened in mere seconds and Riley was gone, shrouded in a large black fog around the floor near the front from the bus and everyone inside it, waking everyone up as Lydia's scream shattered into their minds the moment Riley vanished.
