Jahnvi's Residential

"Coffee is ready, grab a cup Jahnvi", Rajvi exclaimed from the kitchen.

Jahnvi grabbed a cup of coffee and ran to her room's balcony to water the plants. Her hands were working while watering the newly grown plants but eventually, her mind was occupied with someone else's thoughts.

A dazzling smile settled on her lips reaching her ears thinking of the last night. How they enjoyed it! She danced with Krish! They sang together and all the adults played truth & dare.
The one scene replaying in her mind again and again was.

Flashback

Last night, they were all playing the truth and dare game. Shipra flipped the bottle and it stopped between Krish and Jahnvi.
Krish was supposed to ask questions.

He asked with a prankish smirk, "Truth or dare?"

Jahnvi thought for a while then replied, "Truth", with a sincere smile thinking he wouldn't get any chance to tease her.

"Hhm...mph...have you ever had a crush in college or life? Exclude the celebrities, please!"

"No"
She replied straightly. Krish sighed in his mind thinking she doesn't like anyone.

"No. That's the wrong answer krish. Why're you lying Jahnvi?"
Shipra shouted at Jahnvi and Neil calmed her down holding her hand. To which she jerked it away glaring at him hard.

"What wrong? It's true only. I don't have any crush and he asked other than celebrities", Jahnvi shrugged coolly.

"That's wrong", Shipra chipped.

Jahnvi glared at Shipra and she showed her tongue.

"Jahnvi nothing to worry It's just a game"
Jahnvi cleared her throat looking up into his ocean blue eyes.

"You should have included celebrities too then. Rohan, it is. But it was just half n hour of affection which soon faded away that hour only"

"Is he any celebrity Jahnvi?", Shikhar asked getting desperate to burn krish's heart into ashes.

"Question was only one Shikhar and that is over. Please carry on the game. I'll excuse", Jahnvi stood up smiling while krish was surprised by knowing her answer.

Jahnvi reached the left side of the bonfire area leaving them behind. She set her fingers on the railings looking at the colorful lighted city. After a min, a tug came onto her shoulder, she looked right but his voice came from the left side.

"You cherish serene a lot"
Krish looked straight while saying.

She smiled knowing it was him, "Uhm...just felt a bit hazy there with the fire. You tell me"

"I followed you", he replied staring at her. Feeling a constant gaze on her she turned to the voice confused.
"Followed in the sense. I was feeling hazy too", he covered up the emotion.

Silence fell between them for a while there were only their relatives laughing voices behind. They were at a distance from them.
