Through the kids (Schlattbur)

The title isn't literally through the kids.

Wilbur P.O.V.
"Tommy slow down!"

Will yelled to his son, who was currently running away from him.

"Noooo!"
"Oh come on you'll be late, or you won't see Tubbo"
"Noooo! I want to see Tubbo"
"Then put your shoes on"
"Ok fine, but I don't need any help!"
"Ok I won't help"

Wilbur said with his hand in the air. After a bit of struggle to put his shoes on Tommy turned to his dad.

"I don't need help, but can you put my shoes on for me?"
"Sure Toms"

They put his shoes on and left out the door.

On the way to kindergarten Tommy started running, with Wilbur running behind him to catch up.

He got to the kindergarten, without realising, and before he realised it, he had bumped into someone. As he looked up the first thing that came to mind was 'oh god, he's hot'.

"Oh shit, I'm so so sorry dude. I wasn't watching where I was going"
"Hey, calm down dude, I only dropped my coffee, it was nearly empty anyway"
"Sorry about that, here how about I buy you a new one?"
"Dude i Said it's fine, it was empty"
„No, I insist"
"DAD! Are you coming?"
"Wait Tommys your kid?"
"Yea, why?"
"Well Tubbo's mine"
"Oh well it's nice to finally meet you"
"Yea, I think Tommys waiting to say goodbye though"
"Oh? Bye Tommy! Don't swear to much, I don't want anothe phone call"
"Okay okay, bye!"

Wilbur turned away from the kindergarten and towards Tubbos dad.

"Well hello, my names Wilbur"
"Call me Schlatt"
"Well Schlatt, if you aren't busy, it would be my pleasure to invite you for a new coffe"

The man, Schlatt, looked at Wilbur for a second before saying

"Are you trying to ask me on a date?"
"Wha- haha- noo- hehe- no- no No. No, I am not. I was just wanting to repay your coffee."
"Sounds pretty gay but sure, I could probably use some more caffeine"
"Ok well there's a coffee shop just down the road, you wanna go there?"
"Sure"

Wilbur started walking, with Schlatt following close behind. In a desperatere attempt to break the silence, Wilbur started talking.

"Hey Schlatt, do you want to maybe plan a play date for Tommy and Tubbo sometime?"
"Sure, does Saturday work for you?"
"Uhhh, yep I think I'm free then"

Just then they reached the shop and walked in.

After sitting down a waitress came over, Schlatt ordered a plain coffee, while Wilbur ordered a Frappuccino.

"So who's Tommy mom?"
"Oh uhhhh, we f-fell out of love, yea, that"
"Hmmmm, okay"
"What about you, where's Tubbos mom?"

At this Schlatt, choked on his drink.

"You ok Schlatt?"
"Yea, I'm fine. Something similar to you"
"Hm sorry about that"

After they finished

"Well thx for the drink Wilbur it was nice talking to you"
"You to Schlatt"

Just before they left, Schlatt took Wilbur's hand, pressed a small note in it, turned around to leave and while walking off said.

"Text me the info for the playdate, Cutie"

Wilbur just stood there.

'Had Schlatt just called him cute? Maybe he was going to find love again. Maybe he could prove Sally wrong. He wasn't some f@gg0t that couldn't ever find someone as good as her! He would find someone better. Considering that someone was Schlatt'

Wilbur stood there for a solid 5 minutes before finally turning around and walking home.

"Hello?"
"Hey Wilbur, it's me Schlatt"
"Oh hey Schlatt. When are you coming?"
"Well that's why I'm calling, when should I bring Tubbo?"
"Oh, you can come now"
"Ok see you soon, bye Cutie"

'Did he seriously call me Cutie again? Ugh'

By the time Schlatt had arrived, Wils face had cooled down, a bit. But as soon as he saw Schlatt, his face started boiling again.

Tommy and Tubbo were playing, while Wilbur and Schlatt were just talking, about anything really, a love life, careers, hobby's. Anything really.

About 3 months after they had first met, Wilbur could confirm that he did indeed like Schlatt.
While Schlatt on the other hand was stupidly denying it, although deep down he also liked Wilbur, a lot.

For example one time they were talking about Highschool relationships and Schlatt whispered to himself.

"Wish you were in my Highschool, we would have been the cutest couple"

When Wilbur asked what he had said, he just acted like he hadn't said anything. Although they both knew he was lying, no one did anything.

But now the winter holidays were coming and with that Christmas, and since both Wilbur and Schlatt both had no one else to celebrate with they decided to celebrate together, for the kids of course, totally not because they were falling in love and wanted to spend more time together. Totally not number two.

It was the afternoon before Christmas and Wil, Tommy, Schlatt and Tubbonwere in the park, having some fun. They built a snow man and made probably a million snow angels until they got the perfect one. But then Tommy and Tubbo started having a snow all fight., and with Schlatt being the child he is, he joined in and started throwing snowballs, only at Wilbur.

The two men started having a real snow war , but when Schlatt tried to tackle Wilbur in the snow, the both ended up falling on top of each other.

Schlatt was holding Wilbur down, before he realised the position they were in and then just stopped and froze for what felt like 5 Hours. The whole time Wilbur and Schlatt had been looking at each other, silent, just looking into each other's eyes.
