Mario is an Inkling...well, was, up until the end of the Anime Arc.

He is very good at fighting, whether it be serious or for sport.

He sometimes gives Meggy ideas for stories (because in RS universe, Meggy's childhood dream was to become a writer).

He loves motivating the team. (His friends and RS Splatsquad.)

Him and Sonic were enemies until not long before Sonic died.
(Sonic -> Desti and vice versa.)

He's surprised that Meggy predicted Splatoon 3. (Had to add this lol)

Meggy, Mario, Saiko, and SMG4 form the Splatsquad.
