third persons pov:

"omg karl stop" taylor laughs

y/n smiled sadly and turned to look out the window. it was a beautiful day to spend the day outside and the weather was slowly turning her emotionas on the upside. her other two best friends watched her sadly , and they play shoved each other to get each others attention

"say something funny i dont know" nick whispered

"no you do it " angie whisper yells

nick sighs deeply sinking into his seat and angie looks over at karl and taylor. she fake gags outloud hopefully to get a giggle out of their best friend

y/n stayed looking outside, observing every small thing and slowly smiling at herself. she giggled to herself seeing a swarm of birds all together and cuddled up tigher onto the window and the door

karl looked at himself in the mirror and saw y/n in her focus state. his gaze doesnt detach from her and he sees her start drawing doodles on the window from her breathe fogging it up and she laughs at herself, she probably doesnt seem to realize people are looking at her. karl laughed at himself in aw and titls his head admiring her for a split second then quickly looks away, he realized what he was doing

and finally they arrived at the beach while y/n is still looking outside in her own head smiling

nick nudges angie and she frowns annoyed before she smiles looking to see y/n and what she was doing, atleast she was happy

"y/n" she yells

she tears her eyes away for the first time in forever and trails her finger across the door looking up at her friends. she smiles sadly realizing she had to get out so she unbuckled her seatbelt and without saying a word got out of the car

nicks eyebrows scrunch and he turns confused to angie and she sighs loudly, angie grabbed everything y/n left in the car purposely

"she really doesnt wanna be here does she" nick asks

angie nods and proceeds to get out of the car
