Every day the sun sets and the moon comes out.
But there's something different
About night in July.
The sun hangs around late into the evening.
The quiet chirping of the crickets fills the normally unusual silence.
It's peaceful.
It's a different time.
No fear of waking up early for school.
Instead, we blast music as loud as we can
And drive down that beautiful country road,
Cries of joy and happiness echoes around the neighborhood.
Everyone rejoices in the beautiful time
Of soft summer nights.
