Harmony wrapped her arms around Dwayne's neck and her legs around his waist as he carried her down the dangerous entrance to the cave. The walk was extremely steep, small rocks were all over, sharp rocks that were like broken glass, and it was a long way down. Usually, Harmony would let the guys carry her, or she'd teleport. The last time she tried getting to the bottom by herself she fell, that's when the boys found out Harmony can't feel pain and there wasn't even a scratch on her. This both pleased and angered the boys cause they wanted to be Harmony's protectors and now they can't use the 'you could get hurt' excuse to keep her from doing things.

As Dwayne carried Harmony down, Marko helped Sam watch his step, and David and Paul guided Michael. Usually, Harmony uses her fire powers to light the place but she clearly can't use her powers in front of Sam and Michael. Paul used a light he keeps in his jacket and lit some torches lighting some barrels they kept just in case since Harmony gets very weak when she uses her powers too much.

"This was the hottest resort in Santa Carla back about eighty years ago. Too bad they built it on the fault." David explained why they live in an underground hotel. "When the big one hit San Francisco the ground opened up and this place took a header right into the crack."

"And now it's ours." Harmony finished for him.

"So check it out boys." Paul chuckled.

"Come on Sam." Harmony grabbed Sam's hand and lead him to the tv.

"Yes! TV! Mike! They got a TV!" Sam hugs it. "Oh, I missed you so much." He actually kissed it.

"Dude, whatever you smoked I want it." Paul told him.

"He's glad cause our grandpa we live with doesn't have a tv." Michael explained. "How do you have power for a tv?"

"Max pays for the generators." Harmony explained. "And since Max owns a video store he wants us to have tv and let him know which movies should be on the shelves, what he should put on sale, and which ones just plain suck."

"Is Max your dad?" Michael asked.

"No." David said right away. "Harmony belongs to us only."

Marko was by some birds petting one of them, he just so happens to look at Michael in time to see him glare at Harmony. Marko felt his fangs start to grow and the anger in him was boiling. No one looks at her like that.

David looked over in time to see Marko almost in full transformation. "Marko! Food!"

Marko snapped out of it and started heading for the exit.

"Marko." Harmony called from the sofa she was sharing with Sam.

The sound of Harmony's voice cooled him down completely as he smiled at her. "I got you babe." He winked at her and left.

Harmony grinned and continued playing the video game she was playing with Sam.

"So these guys your brothers or something?" Sam asked.

"It's complicated for a human to understand." Harmony said honestly as always.

"What?" Sam asked confused.

"HA!" Harmony cheered as she beat Sam's player.

"No way! Rematch!" Sam said as they started again.

"Kick his ass baby!" Paul whooped and clapped for her.

"They grow up fast don't they." Dwayne said softly but Michael still heard him.

"So she your little sister?" Michael asked.

"Like I said before." David glared at him. "She's ours."

Already the boys disliked Michael and would love to make them their next meal, but his mom is Max's mate and when a vampire finds their mate it's the real thing. Plus with Lucy keeping him busy Max won't bother them so much hopefully, they hate that Max calls himself Harmony's father, but it was a good cover story.

"Damn it." Harmony accidentally said.

"Harmony!" David scold. "Just because we have company doesn't mean you can break the rules."

"I'm sorry David." Harmony said quickly.

David turned to Paul. "You're a terrible influence."
