𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄 would be would be poor and struggling to pay his bills because his small job (𝐎𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐈𝐂𝐄) isn't enough. He was always on a job hunt to find a second job or hopefully an occupation that pays better than what he was earning now.
𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄 applies for every job he sees available and one day he gets a call back from a rich family, giving him the opportunity to be a housekeeper—meaning he would have to clean, take care of their pets sign off their packages and more. To him it was basically living in a mansion for free.
The couple would have an underaged teenaged daughter who happens to be home almost all the time and of course her parents gone a lot because the work some important jobs (𝐎𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐈𝐂𝐄).
𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄 is going to take a liking towards her but he wouldn't want to do anything about it because of their age difference and because he would lose his well paying job.
He knew better than to risk his money for a lady, one that he couldn't even legally be with it at that. So he told himself that he would keep his distance.
The more time (𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄) and (𝐅𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄) spends together he realizes that fighting his feelings would be much harder than he expected. And it is no help that (𝐅𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄) doesn't see a problem with them becoming close.

This was a really small idea for someone to use and make their own thing out of it. Hopefully someone would be whale to build off of this and create something.
Of course I imagined it as youngboy but once again it's your choice.
