"Hello, Eren. What do you want?" you answered, your voice laced with annoyance.
"Y/N, please, can we talk?" Eren's voice sounded desperate.
"I don't think there's anything left to say, Eren. You disrespected me and our family in front of everyone today, and I can't just let that go," you responded, still annoyed.
"I know, and I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted like that. I just got so angry seeing Zeke touch you like that. But I promise to make it up to you. Can we please talk and work things out?" Eren pleaded.
You sighed, feeling torn. You still loved Eren, but you couldn't just forgive him so easily. "I don't know, Eren. I need some space to think about things. I can't just forget what happened that day you cheated on me. I know you were drunk and all but still."
"I understand. Please just know that I love you and our family, and I'll do anything to make things right," Eren said, his voice full of sincerity. "Okay, Eren. Bring Nathen home, and then we can talk," you said, trying to sound as calm as possible.
"Thank you, Y/N. I'll be there in a few minutes," Eren said before hanging up.
You got up from bed and quickly got dressed, mentally preparing yourself for the conversation that was about to happen. You didn't know what Eren was going to say and you lied to him about how you found out he slept with that girl, but you had a feeling it was going to be a difficult conversation.
