Welcome to the Project Athena profile guide! Here's where you'll find information about who we are and all the other important information regarding our profile including submission guidelines, directories, and handy tips.
The prime objective of this project is to find and promote hidden gems of stories, especially from the smaller, growing authors, considering how difficult it is to break out and find readers when you are new to the platform.
It's a place a lot of us have been to and are probably still in as of now.
So many new authors stop writing due to the feeling that they will never find readers. Even if you only have one dedicated reader, that would help. When I started out I only had one person consistently voting, and I wrote more chapters just for them.
The point, as of now, is to simply put out stories and try to grow their audience. If you find a story you like, remember to read, vote, and comment on it, to give that author a boost of motivation to keep writing. In the future, we'll have more ways to try and help out more.
