A few days later we attended the funeral of sues sister, Jean, that the glee club planned

Sue broke down during her speech so mr Shue had to step in to help and we ended up singing for the service, but overall she was the thankful. She was happy about what we did for her even though she never shows

And now we're in New York we had just landed in our New York hotel, trapped in a room whilst everyone thinks of ideas

"Why are me and Mike here?" I complained sighing with my head on mikes lap
"We don't know how to write songs?" I said and he nodded

"Your right, we gotta get out of here" Quinn said standing up and reaching for her cup

"I just meant me and mike but sure" I mumbled

Rachel "Wait- no no no no. Mr Shue gave us explicit instructions"

"To write a song, and our problem is, is that our only inspiration are mattresses and bathroom cups."

"Cassie and Quinn's right" puck said taking off his guitar
"We're in the artists capital of the world. Poets, musicians, actors, play writes.every dreamer that's ever lived has passed through this city. And if we want our dreams to come true, we need to be out there with them, not stuck in here."

"Guys I don't think this is a good idea" Finn stood up out of his seat
"I mean, we still got those songs to write. If we don't write them we're gonna lose"

Lauren: "No. they're right, can't you hear the city calling you?"

Quinn: "we don't need to write songs for nationals. New York's going to write them for us. Now I know Cassies in and mike will go with her so who else?"

I walked out of the room escaping the girls pillow fight and knocked on the boys door

"Mike" puck sang turning to the guys in the room
"Cassies here" Mike smiled getting up and walked over to me as puck walked away

"Hey"

"Hi, sorry I had to escape the girls in there" we laughed and he pulled me in for a kiss
"Do you want to go somewhere?" I asked
"Y-you don't have to-" he cut me off with a kiss

"Let me just put on my coat" he smiled and I nodded flustered, tucking my hair behind my ear and walked over to his bed allowing me to hold open the door and the boys laughed at my blushing state

"Come on" Mike smiled taking my hand

"Bye guys!"  I called back and they all replied

"How are you so bad at this?" I laughed at mikes horrendous cupcake baking skills

We found a place that we could go in and bake our cupcakes and that's what we was doing at that moment

"I dont know, how are you so good at everything?" He groaned and the next second picked the cupcake I was icing and ate it

"You didn't" I laughed and picked up his and put it on his face. I laughed at his now covered nose and he pulled me into a tight hug and wiped some of it off onto my face
