"I can hear every spell you cast." Ric said before speeding towards Lexi. Lexi raised her hand quickly, stilling his movement with a chant. The chant replaced his blood vervain which weakened him further and caused him to lean over in pain. Lexi then performed a more powerful spell which temporarily disabled his vampire abilities i.e. no heighted speed, strength, hearing and it also disabled compulsion.
With her new hearing, she then focussed on the sounds around the school, knowing it wouldn't take Ric long to recover from the vervain since her second spell didn't disable his new healing abilities. After figuring out that Caroline was tied to a chair with vervain ropes, Lexi quickly chanted an untying spell and a message for Caroline to run and for Elena to stay. It didn't take long before she saw Caroline vamp speed from the room. After Elena had explained what had happened when she was in the cave with Esther and Ric, Lexi had figured out that Esther must have linked Elena and Ric's lives but she figured that it wouldn't matter seeing as the spell would have only been activated once Ric completed the transition... which he wasn't supposed to do. Ric then slowly stood from his slouched position, raising his head to face Lexi.
"Woah, and all these years as a hunter I thought vampires where overreacting." Ric spat through his grit teeth. Lexi hummed whilst rolling her eyes, not caring about what he was saying. "You don't seem amused." Ric said, pissing Lexi off more.
"Okay let's cut to the chase here" Lexi started, hearing Stefan and Damon entering the building.
The plan is working
"Leave Mystic Falls" Lexi said, crossing her arms as Ric's burnt skin continued to heal slowly.
"Now why would I do that?" He questioned tilting his head.
"Sorry, let me rephrase" Lexi said clearing her throat, "Leave or I'll kill you."
"You don't have the power for that, little girl" Ric spat. Lexi started laughing at his remark, earning a confused look from the man.
"Sor- sorry" Lexi said stopping her laughter. "Firstly, you of all people should know that I have the power to kill one or more original vampires. Secondly, even if I didn't have my magic, I could still kill Elena." Lexi said as she watched Ric's expression drop and his body tense.
"Why would that matte-" Ric started, clearly nervous now.
"Now, now Ric let's not lie. We both know your life is linked to Elena's" Lexi said before smiling at him. Stefan and Damon then both sped into the room, she quickly chanted a paralysis spell.
The plan was working.
Since the wind seemed to pick up Lexi assumed Bonnie had began he spell as Damon wrapped his hand around the freshly paralysed Ric's heart. After Ric dropped to the ground Lexi said goodbye to the Salvatores and then headed back to the Mikaelson mansion.

"We are almost there" Kol said, rubbing Lexi's thigh. After returning from the school Kol told Lexi that it was his night for a date and that they were leaving in 45mins. Now, they are sitting in the front seats of Kol's car, driving to what appeared to be the middle of no where and listening to the playlist of Lexi's choice. Lexi hummed, not minding the longer drive due to the view of a forest which she had been watching from her window. After a few moments, Kol turned down one of the side roads and parked the car off the side of the road.
"Stay here for a moment, Darling." Kol said before getting out of the car. He then opened the trunk of the car and let down the backseat. "As much as I know you love this view, turn around for a minute, I want this to be a surprise." Kol said tilting his head to meet Lexi's eyes before winking at her. Lexi then turned to face the front of the car. After a few minutes of Kol moving around items in the backseat he opened Lexi's door. He then gestured of her to get out of the car without saying anything. He then covered her eyes with his hands and guided her towards the back of the car.
"This seems like the start of a horror movie" Lexi said taking note that she was blindly being led around a forest in the middle of no where just before sunset.
"You'll be fine" Kol said before removing his hand, "See?" He then revealed that he had set up the back of his car with blankets, pillows, fairy lights and food.

"Kol, this is beautiful" Lexi said, turning to face him. She then watched relief flood over his nervous expression. A smile overtook his face as a thought came to his mind.
"Hmm I don't know if I believe you" Kol said, feigning sadness, "Guess you'll have to prove it to me."
"And how would you suggest I prove it to you" Lexi said playing along with his act. Kol didn't say anything but rather turned his face and pointed to his cheek. As Lexi leaned in to plant a kiss where he had been pointing, he quickly turned his head. This caused their lips to meet. Lexi reached her arms up to wrap around his neck as Kol reached his arms downwards, to wrap around her lower back.
As their lips began to move together more passionately, Kol began to move his hands and explore Lexi's body. This action caused a muffled moan from Lexi as she moved one of her arms down from his neck and onto his chest. She then tapped twice on his chest and moved her head back for air. When they separated slightly, Kol leant his forehead against hers.
Their heavy breathing mixed together before Lexi said, "As much as I do love proving how nice this date is, at this rate we won't actually get to enjoy it." Kol nodded in agreement but still whined when Lexi moved to separate them. "Kol" Lexi scolded before moving out of his arms.
