the charge of the warriors

the warriors move to a tall dense mountai close to a village, Takeda and Kata watch from afar some men from the shoguns army guarding the village and accompany the cargos of the merchants "so what are we gonna do Takeda?" "We are gonna go with a small group freeing the village" Takeda and Kata go with a group of 13 warriors close to the village ,the warriors move swiftly and take place,surrounding the village ,everyone looks at takeda,he raise his hand and the warriors jump out of the forest quickly killing the men and the villagers falling back, screaming ,the warriors put their weapons back and takeda outstech his open palm saying "do not be afraid anymore, we are here to free you" a child points his finger on takedas symbol on his chest saying "oni" takeda sits in a squat like position and says with a laugh "im not an oni little boy" an elder man steps from the crowd attacking takeda with a rock ,kata stops the arm of the elder man that is trying to break free,the other villagers start taking rocks ,shovels and sircles yelling" traitors you sided with the onis " the warriors respond "please lower your weapons we are here to free you" the crowd ignores their screams and charge at the warriors ,almost wounding Takeda at the head, the warriors start running away and he villagers chase them or thro rocks at them,the warriors vanish inside the forest and regroup at the mountain with the others, the warriors sit down breathing heavy and tomoe asks "what happened takeda replies "they attacked us " "why?" "I dont know,but i believe the shogun lied to them for us ,that we sided with the demons" "then there is no reason to be here,lets leave them alone and move one " Takeda look at Tamoe going back to her horse and Takeda made a sign for the warriors to start moving,they move through the forests and reach hanima region, the night falls and they are being surrounded by campfires all over the wild, yakeda looks around and gathers all the warriors around him pointing in a fire far right "20 men go to each campfire,if they are enemies there kill them, the rest follow me and when you complete your scout come to this fire" the warriors move and Takeda,Kata,Tomoe and the warriors go to the campfire finding the shoguns men,the warriors take position around the camp and aim the men with Takeda whispering in a warrior "now" the warrior shoots and the others follow ,waves of arrows and men charge at the army ,some manage to take cover and hide ,but the warriors get close killing them,the warriors search the camp and the cargos and take position in the forest and the camp to guard themselves in case of an incoming attack,Takeda and Kata sit on the fire with their hands on their heads "Takeda something is not matching in all of this " "you are right,the cargos are full of alchohol and little to no food to hold them for a day or until they reach the palace and the campfires being so spread seems so weird" "you know what im thinking?" "Lets wait for the warriors and then leave for the shoguns palace fast" takeda gets up and go close to a warriors ear whispering "tell our comrades to gather anything useful and then be ready to leave when the others returm " the warrior shake his head and run to tell the others takeda goes back to the fire saying to kata "we have to think of a plan,fast " "we dont have many options,we dont know what the shogun will do or when and we are possibly outnumbered " "Kata tell tomoe to come here" Kata rise from his sit and goes to bring tomoe while takeda is looking at the flames , Kata and Tomoe come back and Takeda asks "tomoe yesterday you said that the shogun will be here,how did you get that infortmation?" "A group of people i found told me that the shogun is here,why do you asks?" Takeda look inside her eyes and says "she is in her palace" Tomoe muscles suddenly tighten "how? My informations were absolute right" Kata adds "all this fires we saw are just distractions for us to waste time" "then we have to move fast" "we wait for the warriors to come back and then we will go to the palace" tomoe and Kata sit down and after a while all the smokes in the surrounding area vanish and the warriors come back,Takeda and the others run to the horses and give a sign to the others to follow them,after a night and a day they reach the grounds of Nagato region,the warriors observe from the distant mountains the army and the horros guarding the gray walls and gates of the palace and burning the nerby trees,Takeda asks kata"what do you believe we should do? " kata looks at the walls of the castle with archers on the roofs and guards on the bridge above the moat that connects the gate and the and the open field that the horrors and the army made by burning the trees,Kata then looks back to Takeda and suddenly a thick beam of light comes from the palace, the warriors look with horror in their faces while the shoguns army look with their mouths open and horrors curving a smile ,looking silent ,Takeda see the warriors frighten and shouts"warriors do not lose your hope,the war is not over until each of us die" Kata shout to Takeda "i know a way to enter inside but i have to know if you agree" "tell me then" "there is hagi village in the south,we can go there and steal the villages boats going to the port of the yamaguci city that resides in the palace walls "Takeda place his palm on his forhead and a silent occurs ,Takeda then turns to the warriors shouting "warriors,our time is short and we are left with only one option,we have to steal the boats of a village to reach the shogun,so tell me if anyone disagrees with our decision" warriors with no second thought look Takeda with dedication in their faces, Takeda then look at Kata and says "lead the way Kata" the warriors then follow Katas lead and head to a village in the south , reaching the village in an hour and rushing to it with the horses,trembling the shoguns men, and rushing to the port of the village,ignoring the villagers that were running to attack them and taking their boats fast ,leaving the horses there some even dying from the long nonstop running,the warriors sit in the boats with their looks in their feet silent , after an hour they reach the traiding port of the yamaguci city ,the city where the palace the city and the trading port resides ,,the warriors go close and rope their boats to the port and a man welcomes them with a smile "welcome merchants,before you go to trade we have to check you for the carry of weapons" Takeda and Kata look each other with suprise,the man approach Takeda first and he turn his back from the man,the man face change with his eyebrows pulled together and gritting his teeth drawing his hand near his blade and pushing takeda to see his face ,the man notice the symbol in Takedas chest and he draws his blade but takeda suprass him and cuts him first ,screaming in pain, the people start running away from the warriors and the shoguns men draw their blades with one of them running towards the walls ,the warriors quickly run and slice the two of them ,continuing their advance,the other man hits a bell and archers come from the walls that seperate the warriors and the port from the city,the man and the people go inside and the warriors run towards the gate ,hiding in small buildings and advancing towards them from one building to another,the archers then bring fire to the battle throwing waves of flames to the sky and burning the buildings , shooting the warriors that come out from them ,all the buildings slowly crumble and smoke rise from everywhere with the warriors raising their shields trying to protect from the arrows ,leaving nowhere to hide and the archers aiming at them, out of the smoke strong lighting appears in the sky ,the warriors and the army look above seeing a body made from fire, the archers shout and start throwing arrows unable to reach it,the body then pull her hand forward and lighting comes from its hands,the archers throw their weapons start running , screaming and waving to their people to leave ,lighting then strucks inside the walls with the gate falling and warriors looking with horror in their faces, with Tomoe slowly steping forth outstreching her hands right and left looking at the walls and saying "the divine are real, and they are with us on our holy mission " the warriors raise their swords and run inside finding no one except the tall houses of the city ,Kata eyes wide open and take his look on the warriors with their faces unchanged,suddenly the beams light escalate brighter and the craks appearing the sky,the warriors look at the beam and the cracks in the sky now visible to everyone,from afar the sound of gates is heard and men and horrors appear to the second wall,throwing a large bolder to the bridges and sinking them inside the moat,the warriors look to the sky searching for the divine but finding nothing, they then turn to the tall gray walls of the palace , surround by the clear moat and the army on their walls,with no archers been seen up there,the warriors walk until they reach the moat and Takeda look up to the soldiers and shout "before we continue i hace a why do you sided with these abominations of death?" The army look with rage and an aura of confindence and superiority,one of the men steps to the edge of the wall and spits towards Takeda, his spit falling infront of his feet, Takeda then shouts to the warriors "warriors this men have lost all of their love for humans ,ignoring the sacrifices of the people for our survival , do not show any mercy"the warrior archers go to the first line shooting and shooting waves of them with only few of them managing to go to the top and less killing or wounded the horrors and the men, the beam starts to light even brighter and the cracks become wider and thicker with the warriors looking up to the dome, Kata then take his eyes from it and watch Tomoe in the last line with lighting fading from her shoulder , her mouth open smilling and her eyes wide,she then laughs maniacly and runs to the moat,swimming inside and Takeda shouting "tomoe have you lost your mind? Come back now " the men and horros start throwing boulders with her swimming fast enough to dodge them, Tomoe almost reach the walls but a horror falls from the wall right beside her grabbing her from her arms and sinking her deep to the moat with warriors swimming to rescue her,the horror pull her nails inside Tomoes skin and Tomoe start shaking her legs,trying to kick the horror , felling her lungs ready to burst,she kicks the horror in her leg giving her some centimeters to touch the wall,Tomoe then starts smilling saying inside the water "im coming to sit beside your throne my god" a light pops from Tomoes fingers and the horror leaves her free , trying to fall back,but the light starts expanding beyond Tomoe ,the horror and the warriors , exploding and making chunks of the wall to fall ,humans and horrors fall down getting smashed by the rocks with the warriors muscles tighten looking silent and feeling their stomachs twist , Takeda grit his teeth and shouts again "warriors do not hesitate now,Tomoe gave her life for us to kill the shogun,charge at them" the warriors run above the remains of the walls now fillimg the moat, the remaining horrors and men fall back and the warriors continue, suddenly kata look at the fallen bodies,his heart start hitting fast and breathing heavy, a warrior then grabs him from his shoulder asking "are you alright?" Kata control his breathe and says "yes im fine" the warrior shake his head affirmative and move on with Kata following behind,the warriors run in the palace plaza and watch the remaining men and horrors making a last stand in the s wo stairways that lead up in the shoguns castle and the emperor gardens ,the cracks start widen more and more and Takeda look at Kata saying "Kata there is no time, take some warriors and see if there is a a way to reach the shogun while we distract them," "but Takeda" "do not care about me,i have to stay here and fight wih my comrades, for the memories and wills of our dead people " Kata and Takeda stare each other and Kata run east with ten warriors, kata stopped in a wall and push it finding a hidden stairway ,Kata says "follow me" Kata and the warriors run to the stairs and a warrior asks "how did you knew about this secret path?" "Its no time to talk about this,when we kill the shogun i will tell you" Kata and the warriors step outside in the palace gardens,seeing kazuya in the opposite side,waiting for him with a long black blade on his left arm,the warriors run straight to him and Kata outstrech his hand saying "do not fight him" the warriors do not stop and engage in the figh,Kazuya raise his katana to his chin and with a qucik move he dismembers the heads of half the warriors and with the timespan of a single breath he rips the limbs of the other warriors, with kata freezing, staring at him ,and Kazuya cleaning his blade with his armor and then looking at Kata and saying "we meet again red shadow".
