Kata gets down the stairs and stands beside Cozbe,Nozomi mumurs " if i was more careful you wouldn't be manipulated by her deceptions" Cozbe laughs "deceptions? I didn't said any lie to him,instead i helped him do what you couldn't do in five thousand years " Kata steps forward in front of both of them saying "we do not have to fight right now,our enemy is up there not here " Nozomi point his finger towards Cozbe "the enemy is right here,the one that lied to us now and back five thousand years ago" Kata open his mouth but Cozbe interrupts him "hear these words well Kata to see the truth of these horrors" Nozomi shouts "the truth? The truth that you and the divine transformed us in these bodies and imprisoned us for five thousand years, making us live in this hell and making us watch our fellow humans souls wandering in an eternal dessert with no salvation?" Kata heart skips a beat,saying "Cozbe what is Nozomi talking about?" Cozbe raise both of her hands and says " i was the one that spilled blood to create the swords that have been destroyed to bring down the divine,i was the one that teach you about them ,i was the one that helped rebel against them and i was the one that change the divines decision to let your souls shrink in the void and instead in the endless desert, i was the one that protect Eva and Adam to ensure the human kind survival when the divine kill almost everyone on earth, and you general saigo takamori,
You were the one that led to the downfall of your comrades and your friends,the one that Hana trusted you as the most trustworthy and closest person to her to hold the lines until her and reinforcements arrive ,you brought the extinction of almost your whole kind,the one that wanted to be strong and chase the godhood ,but you were weak ,you let the divine pass through ,transforming the people of Japan in what you are today,and killing almost every human in the planet " Kata look with suprise while Nozomi grit his hands with the nails piercing his skin " if you didn't come back then we would have lived a normal life with our souls going to paradise but you deceived us,making us belive in your lies and rebel against the divine" "was it really me who wanted this or your nature to chase godhood ? After so many sacrifices just to go in waste?" Nozomi turn on Kata saying "Kata i beg you, we cannot challenge the gods,if we beg them then maybe they will let humanity live and let Sakuras and everyones soul in the dessert,isnt it better than having their souls and yours wipe out from existence?" cozbe raise her hands again and says "Kata are you just gonna let Sakuras soul in the hands of the divine instead of yours? After everything the humans did against them do you think they will even think to let the souls live in the dessert? And even if they did when you die you will search for her eternally losing every hope in the end and becoming a husk of despair "Kata look at his old sword for a while with both Nozomi and Cozbe looking at him,with the only difference being the confidence Cozbe had,Kata eyes move towards Nozomi "im sorry Nozomi but Cozbe is right,i cannot leave her soul in the hands of the divine,i want to " Nozomi nails reach as deep as they could and his face twist in one with guilt and pain "i hoped after everything we've been through you will understand and end this maddness ,but now i cannot let you continue it" Nozomi curved his knees and runs towards Kata, Nozomi jumps towards him with his nails and Kata with a single strike slice Nozomi and says "we will meet again my friend in paradise" Nozomi lay down with his last expression been one of despair and guilt, Kata clean his Katana and with an emotionless expression he walks back beside Cozbe and she says loud with pride "some people live for the will and wishes of others but you Kata i was right you are not one of them ,that you will fight for your own beliefs like Tome, now point your sword in the sky and open the dome " Kata lift the sword and a beam comes from the sky opening the dome,divine came from the sky with light surrounding them,Cozbe touch Katas back and raise her other hand "now i can heal your wounds and let you inside the heavens" the divine come down with speed, pointing their weapons down to the ground,Kata and Cozbe respond with the same way and both forces clash in the ground,the divine attack Kata and Cozbe directly with their long 2 meter spears in all of their 8 arms ,Kata slay the divine but with many of them slicing him and wounded him but still standing and blocking until cozbe could heal his wounds, Slowly more and more divine came,surrounding him from everywhere and vanishing the sky and the light from his sight,for a moment Kata feel his breathe taken away and a feeling of despair but he recover in an instant,
The divine attack relentlessly with Kata and Cozbe ready to collapse but still standing ,Slowly Kata slaughter them one by one making them fewer and fewer until none is left,Kata and Cozbe stop moving ,Katas heart beating faster than ever and the tumor in Cozbes back doing the same,not a minute pass and Cozbe touch Katas back,another minute pass and Kata sees a light covering his sight and suddenly he feels an aura crushing hes body, seeing in front of him grey and red mixing in the sky with,a black hard surface in his feet and fallen black pillars and statues everywhere , bricks all over the ground,Kata look behind him and sees Cozbe meters away from him,Cozbe looks the surrounding with worry and then waving her hand for him to come and run away , Kata run and followed her beside the destroyed buildings and pillars, seeing bodies burried in them ,Cozbe run up straight to a light and elevates to the sky, Kata look at her going, inside a tall black building , he stops for a while to take a good look at it, wider and taller than any buildung Kata has seen,Cozbe enters inside and Kata follows her, he goes inside the light and elevates to the building,he enters inside seeing two big doors dividing the building in the right and the left ,Kata look at both of them but a loud cry makes him go to the right,the building is divided in more doors and stairs but the cry continue and Kata follows it up in a room with no roof above it,only some pillars that resemble the divine or some thin figures with iron plates around their bodies,two legs and two arms holding spears , piercing a massive long slim body with many arms on its side ,large wings and the arms going down until the end of its body and a mouth wide mouth with strings holding its jaw,and in the back side of the pillars the thin figures cutting it and drinking it's blood,Kata feel a twist on its stomach but he continues forward seeing cozbe and a vague figure sitting thirty meters away from him,Kata run closer and closer with the cry stopping and a scream of rage taking its place,Kata arrive stepping in piles of bodies below him, watching cozbe piercing a divine, he move a bit forward watching her rage taking over her body, the divine grab Cozbe from her head in a blink of an eye ,saying "now that every reason for you to live vanished ,you will become an empty husk like me" Cozbe takes the spear from his body and throws him with rage Against the throne,breaking and falling back with the bricks "you may are the cunniesest person,but even the smartest people make mistakes" cozbe place her feet against the divines legs,saying with a quite and calm voice "im gonna make you ask for the void to take you" Cozbe takes the spear beside her and chops his legs one by ome as his breathe slowly leaves him "i was one of the first in lines to go against our creator,the one that with his birth life came to the universe ,i was one of us that killed him,i was one of us that guide our mere weak bodies through the cataclysm and when everything ended and was peaceful you led us to drink his blood" Cozbe stops and looks in the piles of bodies whispering very low, she then continues " and for what? To take his power of creation,bending even creation itself and live eternally in these realm of our image  but with the cost of locking us away from the afterlife,making our blood the only weapon against us and you and many others start war against each other, because you saw one another as a threat that will kill you , and I with my people plot for millenia ,making the humans rebel ,leaving them to continue their after life in the dessert instead of the void then i saved Adam and Eve to start humanity again and making you belive they will never rebel again and if they did that we will watch them, but I made another sword with my blood,and after five thousand years of planning for the safety of my people,to get rid of men like you that took them away" the divine turn and slowly open its mouth and Cozbe rips it out with the spear ,the eyes of the divine wide open from the pain with Cozbe continuing to ripping limb by limb slowly, the divine hit the ground with its last leg,wanting to scream, Cozbe slice the last leg and throws the spear at his head,she then slowly turns walking above the corpses, falling to her knees"ahane,orthas,athona, ouramix"I'm sorry, I filled you with promises for a paradise where us and the rest will live happy away from the fear of death,and I failed all of you miserably" a silence occurs with cozbe tilting her head down to the bodies and suddenly she gets up walking away from Kata and the Bodies,Kata follow her but she turns saying "do not follow me anymore mortal" Kata eyes lower halfway and she looks at Cozbe with suspicion "what are you planning to do Cozbe?" Cozbe answer loud "im going to do some minor things and then we can continue to save your wife's soul" Kata draw his blade and points it towards Cozbe "in the end,many times i doubt your words, but now you are not even trying to hide ,tell me what exactly are you trying to accomplish now?" Cozbe laugh saying "accomplish? Look around you Kata everything is dead,everything i worked for,everything i wanted to accomplsh is taken away" Cozbe look back to the bodies sighing "but that's what life is,and I'm going to end it with the body of our creator " "why end it? They are many people who enjoy their lifes and want to live,and when we get back our afterlife everyones soul will be free and live eternally happy" Cozbe laughs ,piercing Katas ears so much that he covers them "do you think afterlife is what is described in the books and the fairy tales of your false religions? No its nothing more than the continuation of the consciousness,carrying the same memories , experiences and emotions of their previous life,and even if it's better than the dessert it will leave a mark on the thieir consciousness,needing time to recover and even then their fears and despair from there will hunt them just like the rest that will go straight to paradise their memories and emotions will hunt them eternally " "and you believe is this a reason for everyone to stop fighting for the better and try to find happiness? " "I do not care about anyone Kata,i just wanted to live happy,eternally with my people,but now theres nothing left to hold me from taking the world with me in the void and end all these" "then this is where your life will end,with your hate and  everyones else"
Cozbe raise her arms "then i can only accept it ,I cannot use the power of creation here and go away and I cannot outrun or fight you,just kill me ,end this"
Kata run and strike her legs,letting her body fall, Cozbe head fall ,looking at Kata directly ,saying with confidence in her last words "i hoped I could see how long your patience and will are going to keep you going in this unhospitable world for humans before your pain makes  you think the only escape will be to kill yourself  " Cozbe eyes close and a black aura came around her fall body,and a light coming out out of the body,with the light shine strong at first and then fading ,consuming by the darkness
