CHAPTER FOUR: THEY'RE WHAT?!

His kind!?

"Wait wait wait!! You're going to fast I'm still trying to understand! You and your family are what!?" I said a bit loud but also very confused and scared.. "we're all werewolves.. Myself, my mother, and my three brothers, Blane, Captain and Duke We all are wolves.." He said as he holds my hand, I get that warm feeling again, I start to calm down, my heart was racing! "So what is this warmth I feel when I touch you? And why do I feel safe/comfortable around you?" He smiles as his fingers crossed mine as he holds my hand, "it means your my soul mate, I've never felt it before but as my mom explained it to me years ago this is what it feels like.. When my dad died I became the Alpha, meaning I make the rules and run my pack. I'm pretty much there boss, and when I find my mate it means You're my Luna.. Meaning the Luna is the Alpha female and Luna means "Moon" in Latin.." taking this all in I hear footsteps outside, "what's that?" I asked as we both Stop talking, "I don't know stay here!" He said as I get worried. I hear some shouting as more people show up, what is going on?! I asked myself as I hear my name.. Oh my god they're talking about me!? I get a bit worried as I listen, "She's my mate! Back off no one will put any harm to her! If anyone lays one finger on her there will be some consequences! Do you understand me!" They all stop talking, and I hear everyone say, "yes sir!" Everyone leaves and Archer comes back into the house.. "I am so sorry about that!" I get confused on what happened outside, "my family and I don't really bring home humans that often.. And if we do they try killing us knowing what we are.." I look at him concerned, "Liz are you okay?!" I look at him after zoning off into space, "yeah I.. I'm fine I'm just getting tired and still trying to process everything.." he smiles at me and stands up, "here let me show you the bedroom, I think you'll love it!" He said as I give off a light smile.. We walk into the bedroom and let me just say it was stunning! It had little Christmas lights, a nice light grey color with a little desk and a tv on the wall, something I haven't seen before! "Wow Archer this is amazing! How much do you want a night?" I asked thinking this might me a little to much.. "Oh no! You're not paying a dime, you are more then welcomed to stay as long as you like!" I smile at him and flop on the bed, "oh my gosh this bed is SOOOO COMFY!!" I said with excitement, "Alright well I've told you the main parts of what we are.. Will you be okay until morning?" He said as he smiled at me, "can you stay? I get a little scared being by myself someplace I've never been before.." I said as Archer smiles a little more "of course, I'll sleep in the other room okay?" He said as I lay there dozing off. The next day I wake up and see the beautiful sun shining in the field, I look at my phone and notice It's 1pm. I slept in!! Something I normally never do! I see Archer from a distance outside, what is he doing? Is he Cutting the grass!? I get up and get into a nice cute outfit and head outside, he has no shirt on man he's so hot! I thought about everything he said last night, maybe being here isn't to bad after all! I go back inside and get my makeup from my bag, I head into the bathroom and do this really cute natural brown Smokey look, I get my boots on and walk outside again to see Archer walking up the steps. "Hey gorgeous I was wondering when you'd wake up! How'd you sleep?" He asked as he sits on the stairs, "I slept really good! But how come you didn't wake me this morning?" I asked as he looked at me and laughed a little bit, "I tried I was gonna ask you if you'd wanna come with me to get some breakfast but you were out like a light!" I laughed with him as a car pulled up, "Who's that?" I asked as he looked at the vehicle, "that's Captain, he's helping me with the yard work today, wanna meet him?" I asked as Captain got out the car, "afternoon alpha!" Captain said as he holds out his hand to shake Archers. Is this how they greet him? "Captain this is Elizabeth, she's umm.." he hesitated for a minute as I chimed in, "I guess I'm his mate.." I said as Archer smiled, "well it is a pleasure to meet you Miss Elizabeth!" I smile at Archer and Captain shakes my hand but also kisses the top of it.. I was so pleased to see how everyone was so welcoming, "So Miss Elizabeth—" I cut Captain off not trying to be rude, "please just call me Liz" I said with a smile. "Liz what brings you all the way out here from Georgia?!" He said as he smiled at Archer.. "I just wanted a fresh start.." I said as Archer looked back at me, "Liz would you like to get some groceries with me? Maybe show me what you're into?" Archer said as I smile at him, "yes that would be great! It was nice meeting you Captain!" I smile and wave as Archer looks at Captain like he did something wrong.. He opens my door and walks back over to Captain, I couldn't hear what he was saying but the look on Captains face, it didn't look good! Archer gets in the car and starts to drive down the road, "I am so sorry how my brother acted." He said as I was confused, "what do you mean? He was really sweet!" I said as I smile out the window looking at all the fields, "he shouldn't of kissed your hand, to us Alphas it shows a sign of disrespect. I saw my dads friend do it to my mom once and let's just say it didn't end pretty! I do apologize for how he acted.. I hope you can forgive him." He said as I look at him, "of course I can forgive him." Archer smiled as he drives a little more down the street, after Ten minutes of driving we get to the a little town filled with cars and stores, "this is Weaver town, it's the main town we go to when we need anything.." I smile as I see everyone smiling and waving at Archer, does everyone here know what he is? Or do they have no clue? I asked myself as I zone off again.. "Liz?" I jump and come back to reality, "are you sure you're okay?" He asked as I smile at him, "yeah I'm great!" He smiles at me and parks the car at this small little store, "Good afternoon Alpha!" The store keeper says as he has his hand out, "good afternoon Edward!" Archer said as he shakes the man's hand. We walk down some Isles in the store looking at everything.. I see some taco seasoning and pick up some, "Hey Archer?" I asked as he looked at me and smiled, "yes?" He says as I show him the taco seasoning, "have you had tacos before?" I asked as he looks at me confused, no! This man better be joking! "What are tacos?" He asked as I look at him with a worried look, "you have to be joking!" I said as he laughs, "I'm not joking!" Archer said as I gather everything up for tacos, "wait until you try my tacos you will literally fall in love with them!" I said as Archer starts putting more things into the buggy, we walked to the front to check out and I notice some drinks to the corner of me, I look at them as I see Archer smiling at me. "What?" I asked as I smile back, "nothing you're just gorgeous." I smile as I pick up a pack of water, Archer walks over to me as I'm struggling to pick it up, he laughs at me and picks the case up himself and puts it on the bottom of the buggy. "Would you like any soda or anything else?" He asked as I smiled at him, "no it's okay! I need to stop drinking soda." He smiled at me as he grabs a twenty four pack of sprite, "darling you can have whatever you want!" He said as he puts it at the bottom with the water, we check out and I try to load the truck up with the groceries, but Archer stops me and asks "what are you doing?" I look at him confused, "umm putting stuff in the truck?" He laughs at me and walks me to the passenger side, "I grew up where the female don't do that, the men do.. And since I'm here you will not lift a finger!" I laugh at him as I sit in the car.. after five minutes Archer gets everything into the truck and gets in. "Alright gorgeous what do you say we get home and you can show me how to make these tacos." I smile at him as he drives off..
