CHAPTER NINE: GETTING READY

After earlier this morning Archer and I fell asleep but didn't bother to put clothes back on.
       *KNOCK KNOCK* Archer slowly gets out of bed and puts his pants on. "Yes?" He opens his eyes more as he sees Dr. Greg at the door, "Luna Liz had an appointment and didn't show so I thought I'd come over to do the ultrasound today, I hope that's okay alpha!" He said as he holds his hand out to shake Archer's, "um yeah let me wake her up you can set up in the living room if you'd like and she'll be right out." He said as he leads Dr. Greg inside, he walks to the room and slowly wakes me up. "Hey my love Dr. Greg is here we forgot about your
appointment so he just came to do a house visit. Can you get dressed and meet us in the living room?" I open my eyes and smile and he kisses me softly on my head and I sit up.. Five minutes after getting dressed I walk to the living room, "alright Luna Liz please have a seat right here and lift your shirt up for me." I sit down and lift my shirt up I see he gets out a wand and some gel and he starts to rub it on my stomach, "there's... little bean..." he said has he hesitated "what's wrong!" Archer said I get a worried look on my face as he starts taking some photos of bean.. "so two weeks ago we saw how tiny it was well it seems to be growing pretty fast.. but not as fast as werewolf speed.." I get worried as maybe I am having Alex's baby, I don't want his baby I want Archers baby! I start to tear up as Dr. Greg still does his thing, "hey don't worry it's going to be a wolf no matter what! Dr. Greg can you please explain to Liz about hybrid pregnancy and all the other pregnancies she needs to know." He hands me the photos of little bean and I smile knowing that's MY baby. "So with Werewolf pregnancy they last up to 7 months instead of 9 the baby grows faster, Vampire pregnancy is a bit complicated.. So when a human is pregnant with a Vampire baby and the human gets further along the baby will try to suck the blood out of the mother causing the mother to go into early labor due to not having enough blood for the baby to drink, that's why when a human has a vampire baby we recommend the woman have an emergency c-section. Now with a hybrid pregnancy it's still complicated it can be helped with two simple things." I look at archer as he holds my hand, "I am now certain that you my dear are going to have a hybrid and I wanna say you're 12weeks and three days, as you get further along you might feel the baby has good strength of a wolf but might suck the blood from you just like a Vampire, and you did say you had s*x with a vampire there C*m can last inside you for a little over a month before it gets to the egg and fertilizers, the only reason I'm saying you're having a hybrid pregnancy is because of Alpha Archer, he is half the father but Alex is also half the father. Now you can also teach your baby to grow up and pick what he or she wants to be." I look at Archer a little scared what am I gonna do? I know for sure I am keeping my baby! "What are the two things that help?" I ask as the doctor pulls out his appointment cards and fills one out, "Blood and raw meat! The blood will help the baby not drink as much of yours, the vampire half. The raw meat helps the Wolf half it'll help the baby grow and give it the minerals it needs, also I had a question we can do a blood draw and figure out the gender that way Or you can wait until you're twenty one weeks to find out by ultrasound." I look at Archer wondering what to do, "we will do blood test, and when I hit twenty one weeks we can do ultrasound to make sure it's correct." I sit up and give the doctor my arm to draw my blood. "Alright I should have the results for you in about three days! You guys enjoy the rest of your day!" He smiles and shakes Archers hand, "I'm scared.. I don't want Alex to be half the father, what if he finds out he's half the father and he comes after me?!" I said as I start to freak out "my love he will not lay one hand on you! The thing with the alphas mate is no one and I mean NO ONE can lay a hand on you, not even a scratch.. If they do it gives the alpha full rights to rip there head off that's the only way to kill them." I look at him in shock did he really just tell me the only way to kill a vampire?! I sit down to relax and I hear a knock at the door. "I'll get it" I said and I see Harrie and Kate with there daughter, "it's nice to see you again Luna Liz!" Harrie said as he reached his hand out to shake mine. I invite them in and the little girl just stairs at me, "Becky it's not nice to stair! You say hi to Luna Liz!" Kate says as she hides behind Harrie, "I am so sorry she's never this shy!" Kate says as I smile Archer comes out the bathroom and sees Harrie "Alpha Archer!!" Becky runs up to him and gives him a big hug! I smile as he hugs her back, "Becky did you grow!? I swear last time I saw you, you were this big!" He jokes around with her and sits next to me. "Something is going to happen.. A fight? Yeah! There's going to be a fight!" Becky says with her eyes closed, "Becky honey, how do you know that?!" Kate asks as we all look at her worried.. "the moon Queen just told me.. Luna is in danger.. and so is baby O!" I look at Archer confused, "who's baby O dear?" Harrie asked as Becky points to my belly. "She said I have to watch over them! I can't let anything happen to the baby O! Someone is coming and they're coming fast! The ceremony Has to be tonight!" She said as she runs out the house. "BECKY!" Kate yells while chasing after her. "I'll call my mother and tell her it's tonight!" I get up off the couch and head to the bathroom, tonight?! I don't have anything nice to wear, what if I mess up!? What if No one excepts me!? I start to freak out and sit on the bathroom floor, Archer walks in and stands me up, "it's going to be okay! I promise let's go shopping, get you something nice to wear, maybe get some lunch while we're out." He says while hugging me to calm me down. I smile at him as he gets me some socks and my shoes, I put them on as we walk out the door. He helps me in the truck and starts to drive as we drive we pull up the little market where a lot of people are, "can we go there? I wanna check it out!" He smiles at me and turns the car to the "sweet girl" clothing shop, when he parked the car he gets out and opens my door. I see some girl staring at me I put my head down knowing that girl looks way better then me! He lifts up my head and softly kisses me, "you're gorgeous." The girl gets a mad look on her face and walks off. I smile as he holds my hand and we walk into the store, "so do I need to be all fancy? Or just like something nice and simple?" He looks at me and smiles "my love find anything you will feel comfortable in, we can try a bunch of stuff on and witch ever one you like more we get, pick out a pair of shoes, some earrings or whatever you like." I smile at him and see this nice beautiful dress I look for my size and they had one left! I get excited and hold onto it, "I'll hold it while you look more." Archer said as I smile. "How did I get so lucky?" He smiled at me as he wraps his arm around my shoulders, I start to look around more and he sees this other dress. "What about this one love? The color matches your eyes! And I think you'll look beautiful in it!" Archer said as he looks at the size of the other dress, I smile and agree. He gets my size and we walk to the dressing rooms, I shut the curtains as I get undressed. I try the dress Archer picked out and I actually really like it, it fits perfectly, and it does match my eyes. I walk out and show Archer, he stands up and his jaw dropped, "you look absolutely beautiful!" I start to blush and smile more, "I want this one!" I said as I spin a little bit. "Why not get both? Maybe I can take you on a date and you can wear the other one for me." He said as I walk back into the dressing room, my confidence went from a Zero to like a hundred within seconds! I get dressed and walk out with both the dresses, "did you find shoes?" He asked as I look around, "the shoes here aren't really popping out at me..." He smiled as we head to the check out "thats okay babe maybe my mother or Kate has something." I smile but also wonder would they be okay for letting me wear there nice shoes? "Babe you okay?" He asks as I feel a little nauseous.. "yeah excuse me do you guys have a bathroom?" I asked in a rush, "yes we do but unfortunately it's for employees only.."
"She's pregnant unless you want puke all over your nice floor I suggest you let her use it!" The girl gets worried and shows me to the bathroom, "I'm sorry Alpha I'm just trying to follow the rules here.." he looks at her as he hears me puking my guts up, "just don't let it happen again." He said as she walks back to the counter. I rinse my mouth out and wash my hands and get done in the bathroom, "you feeling okay? Do you wanna get home and rest?" I nod my head yes as we walk out to the car. He stops at the only gas station that's out here, he gets me a water bottle and starts putting gas in the truck. I notice a girl walking up to him trying to start a conversation but all I hear from him is "sorry I have a mate" I felt happy! He's not afraid to tell anyone that I'm his! I smile with joy and take a sip of water. He gets back in and I do nothing but smile at him, "what?" He asks while smiling at me. "So does everyone here know you're a werewolf?" He starts to drive back to the house as we talk more. "Yes everyone here is a wolf all in the same tribe I'm the alpha of all of them." That makes more sense! I look out the window and we pull into the driveway, "alright babe, go get in bed I'll bring everything in and I'll be right there." I smile and walk inside, I noticed something was off.. Like someone was in here, "Archer!" I yelled as he runs in, "what's wrong!?" He asked worried I notice a box on the bed wondering who it was from. "Open it.." he said as he watches me. I open the box and all I see is a letter.. "I know I'm half the father! Don't worry you'll see me soon!" I threw the box and started crying, "hey don't stress okay, I'll protect you and Our little bean." He hugs me tightly and lays down with him, I start to doze off in his arms and he starts to cove me up with the blanket. I feel him get up but I was too comfortable in bed, after about two three hours of sleeping I actually decided to get up. I see Archer put my clothes on the bed with a note, "witch ever you pick you'll look gorgeous in, when you're done Kate will walk you out to the ceremony." I smile as I pick the green one he picked out for me, it was a nice dark green color super pretty and it matched my skin tone and my eyes really well! Before I got dressed I do my hair and makeup first so I didn't ruin the dress. It takes me almost an hour and I hear a knock on the door. "One second!" I yell out, "Luna Liz? It's me Kate!" She opened and walked into the house, "come on in! I'll be out in just a minute I'm getting dressed." She waits patiently in the living room as I walk out. "So? What do you think?" She stands up and her jaw drops, "you look gorgeous!" She said with a big smile on her face. "I brought these for you, Archer said you needed a pair of shoes. And I got you a little gift." I smile and put the shoes on, she then hands me a small box.. "Oh my god! Kate this is gorgeous!" I said as I give her a big hug, "thank you so much!" I take the necklace out the box and she helps me put it on.
