Nakarating kami sa hospital at around 2 in the afternoon, because of the heavy traffic
tahimik lang kaming naglalakad sa hallway hanggang sa sumakay kami ng elevator ay walang gustong magsalita sa aming dalawa, dahil siguro parehas kaming nahihirapan makita siya na nakahiga sa hospital for almost a year.
When we reached the 11th floor Dani spoke
"room 417ate cr lang po ako" she said and walked away
alam kong hanggang ngayon nahihirapan pa rin siya makita ang kapatid niya na nakaratay sa hospital bed, walang malay at maraming naka kabit sa katawan niya. Sino ba kasing hindi nahihirapan likr her mas mahirap para sa akin na makita yung asawa ko na nakahiga lang.
As I reached his room, I stopped and stared at him, he's look like sleeping peacefully waiting for the sun to rise so he could wake up na but NO.
I smiled and wiped my tears, Im staring at him too long not to realized that Dani was here already beside me
"Pasok ka na ate, susunod na lang ako" she said and I hold the door knob and was about to open it when papa opened the door for me
"Pasok ka na anak, iwan muna namin kayong dalawa" Papa said trying to hide the pain in his voice and tap my shoulder
"Hi love" I greeted him and sat in the chair beside his bed
"wake up na love, ang tagal mo na nakahiga diyan hindi ka ba nangangawit?" I said and let out a small laugh
"love, seryoso wake up na, miss na miss ka na ng mga anak natin malapit na mag take ng entrance exam yung kambal for college, si forth naman graduating na ng junior highschool this coming school year. You promised na ikaw ang aakyat at magsasabit ng medal niya right? dahil laging ako ang kasama niya umakyat ng stage to recieve his awards, kasi busy ka sa company. Forth is waiting for you love to wake up, so he could play basketball again with you" and I wiped my tears away
"We visited francis nga pala love, he's doing well up there, you know what the ball you gave to forth, he gve it to his kuya. Please love everyone is waiting for you to wake up, everyone is excited for you to wake up so please gising ka na. Hindi kami mapapagod para sayo, tandaan mo yan love ha mahal na mahal na mahal ka namin" I finished and kissed him in his lips
There's a long silence inside him room when I saw a tears escaping from his eyes, agad agad ko siya niyakap at hinalikan ang noo
"You heard me right?"
"I know you heard me, You're a fighter indeed. I love you Thirdy" I said and kissed his forehead again

I didn't know I fell asleep. when I woke up there is nothing new, his room was so silent only the air from aircon, and the beep beep in his room indicating his alive you often hear.
I slowly opened my eyes and glanced at my husband, "Im always here beside you love" I whispered and roamed my eyes in his room. There is a mini fridge, food and fruits, his favorite teddy bear from one of our fans was sitting in couch waiting for him to wake up.
its already 7pm in the evening I didn't know sobrang tagal ko palang nakatulog but at the back of my head saying "wala yan sa haba ng tulog ng asawa mo" I just shrugged it off and went to table to check if there's a food because Im already hungry
I came back to where I am earlier which is beside him with a plate in my hand and glass of water in the other one
I was peacefully eating my food, checking him from time to time when my phone rang
it was Dani....
"Hi ate, papa and I already went home, tulog ka kasi kanina kaya umalis muna kami, but dont worry papa will be back there later" Dani said in the other line
"Im okay here don't worry and its late na din if bbiyahe pa si papa, I'll call you or text you na lang if anything happen ha, don't silent your phone plus tomorrow pag may pupunta dito bring some clothes of mine, ask the twins na lang where my luggage is" I said and put it on a loudspeaker so I could continue to eat my food while talking to her
"Sige ate, but I won't be there tomorrow need ako sa clinic. Sorry ate" Dani said
"Just give your phone to Amara I will talk to her lang is she still awake or not if not don't bother to wake her up" I said as I finish my food
"Hi mom? how's daddy?" I heard amara talking in the other line
"I think he's okay anak, don't worry too much ha"
"Have you already eat your dinner?" My daughter asked
"Yeah, btw prepare a clothes of mine, padala mo sa pupunta dito tomorrow ha"
"Can we visit daddy po?" I heard forth
"Are you done reviewing na ba?" I asked
"yeah mom, so can we?" it was avery
"Okay but make sure you're done na with your things ha"
"Yehey, I'll accompany mamala tomorrow morning but I'd be there in the afternoon, so mauuna po pumunta si ate amara and forth" Avery said
"Sige, anak your meds and vitamins ha don't forget to drink." I said still in a loudspeaker, and I'm washing the plate that I used
"Good night mommy, kiss daddy for us, loveyou both" it was forth
"Good night anak, iloveyou bye na check ko na si daddy ha, loveyou" I send and the call ended
When Im done, I went to him and check him
"love, wake up na" I said while holding his hands
He's always like that, he always intertwined my hands to his, while walking at mall, in the park, in the beach. Everywhere, anytime, anywhere and I miss it.
Before the accident were super happy like there's no tomorrow, we celebrated forth first championship game in basketball, twins last year in senior high, dani's opening a clinic for pets, ate ly's daughter graduation too. diba we were happy back then until the accident happened and boom biglang naging madilim ulit ang lahat.......
I was interrupted from the knocked on the door, I opened it and that was his doctor
"Hi. You're Mrs. Ravena right? the wife of Mr. Ferdinand?" his doctor asked and I nodded
Yeah they kinda didn't know me because when my husband transferred here we were in Sanfo 3 months ago
"I just to be straight forward Mrs..." I cutted him of and asked
"Please doc, tell me a good news about him" I said and he gave me a small smile and nod
"You don't have to worry Misis. Mr Ravena is doing well, he's improving actually, after tanggalin ng tubo na naka kabit sa kaniya ang laki ng improvement ng katawan niya, kaya h'wag po kayong mag aalala, malapit na siyang magising" He said and gave me a reassuring smile. I just smile and nod as he explaining what thirdy need a test
"...... and on monday is his ct-scan schedule, para maka sigurado tayo na walang any complication sa ulo niya bago siya magising" Doctor Smith explained
"Doc is there.... a chance.... na..... makalimot ulit...... siya?" I asked stuttering at nagpipigil na may tumulo na luha sa aking mata
Doctor Smith looked at me and
"In his case its.............."
