"You're just thingking of his finger all up in you" Maddie started laughing at her friend annoyed face
"You're in work Maddie! incase you forgot, what brought you here ba?" she asked avoiding her friend what says
"All i need is approval for masbate project, so sign this na para we can prepare the materials and equipment that needed" Maddie said and handed her the folders
"Ahm about that madz, I can't be there because of Amara's game. First game niya yun and i want to be there" she said and give maddie a small smile
"Kim already informed me about your sched next week, you don't need to be there naman the first day of construction because Anton would be there naman, I need the papers tomorrow Mrs. Ravena" and just like that Maddie left her office
Bea has also three meetings today, and the first two was done after lunch earlier. So before the work hours end she'll meet the new client at 4pm. It's 3pm pa lang naman so she have time to prepare pa.
"Are you coming with me ba kim?" she asked her secretary because if she says no, it would be the first time she will meet a client alone
"No, I can't leave my desk. I have too much left to do, beibei" Kim tell her, still looking at the monitor "But sir Anton said he'll accompany you" she added and focused at the monitor.
Kim is her friend since colloge and also her teammates before
"Are you sure? I thought he is out with Van for the Ilo-Ilo project" she said shaking her head
"He made it clear before he left for a meeting, that he'll be here before 4 pm" Kim said and smiled "okay" that was she only said and back to what she's doing earlier.
Half an hour later, she closed her laptop. Get her black coat and bag
"Kim I have to go, tell Anton when he came back na una na ako. If he wants to follow me there, give the location of the restaurant na lang ha" Kim just nodded to her still focused on the monitor.
She was on her way to parking when she received a text
" Hi mom, I'll be spending the weekend here in lgv. Mommyla said visit us here, and also ate Amara and fourth are in Cainta. So pls come straight here from the company and we will visit dad tomorrow. iloveyou mom"
after she read the message of her daughter, she hop in on her car and drive away.
It took her 15 minutes before she arrived at the resto, because the traffic was not heavy
she saw agad the clients because she know them naman.
"Good afternoon Mrs Ravena, right?" the old man asked and she just nodded
"Good afternoon, Mr and Mrs Lacson" she greeted them back and sat on the vacant chair, in front of the couple.
She ordered a drink, before they start the meeting.
"I thought Mr. Asistio, will be here" Mr lacson asked
"Yeah, he is. but he's on a meeting with engineers and architects but he'll be here anytime" she said and smiled
her phone vibrated, indicating that someone messaged her.
“Ma'am sorry but sir Anton can't make it today, the meeting with the engrs and archi was extended and he is saying sorry”
"Ma'am and Sir. Sorry but Anton can't make it today, because his meeting was extended. So shall we start?" Bea said nervously
"Are you nervous, aren't you?" the old woman asked and she smiled shyly
"Mrs. Ravena kapag nasa business meeting ka don't be nervous and shy." the old woman added and smiled at her. And because of that bea smiled at them ear to ear
"Im Isabel Beatriz De Leon-Ravena. The wife of the President and CEO of Ravena Corporations Mr. Ferdinand Ravena III" she said and at nakipag kamay sa mag asawa
"You must be the daughter of the CEO of De Leon Infinity Company in New York?" The oldan asked and she just nodded "Im Ronald Lacson and this is my wife Carmela Lacson" he added
"So I would go straight to the point, we want your company to supply construction materials for the renovation of our townhouse in Bataan. My Amiga reccomend your company to us because the high quality of your products" The old woman said
They are talking in talking about the renovation and all
"Im happy to hear that Ma'am and Sir. My secretary will email you about the details and we will set another meeting, a week before we begin the renovation " Bea said in more confident now and smiling from time to time.
"Thank you, Mrs Ravena for your time" The old couple said and bid a good bye.
When the couple left, bea call a waitress and asked the bill and pay for it. And decided to call it a day amd went straight home.
