Mister Zhongli and the Fatui Guy

- chapter 5 -

The sun started rising and the first sunbeams could be seen.
The birds started chirping and only few people were already heading off to work.
Zhongli was also already up.
He was planning to go to the hotel early and pick up Childe.
There was a lot they wanted to do today.
Starting off with the restaurants here in Liyue.
Before going out, Zhongli wrote Hu Tao a letter, that he'll come home today's evening and not earlier.

He was kind of happy that he won't work the few next days but then, thinking of what Childe wants to do here every single day, Zhongli already wants to work normally again.

He left the letter at Hu Tao's work table and left.
It was a bit fresh outside but you could clearly tell, that the weather will be better than yesterday.
He headed off, and was slowly walking to the hotel.
When it's so early, many people are still at home and Liyue's streets are still empty.
Zhongli likes this time because everything is so quiet and he can relax.

After a few minutes he stood in front of the hotel.
But before he could enter, Childe was already outside.
When he saw Zhongli, he instantly smiled and went to him.
Childe wanted to hug him but Zhongli just stepped a side, so that Childe fell down.

"Good morning, today is a wonderful day, isn't it?",

Zhongli said and laughed.
Childe just said nothing but looked at Zhongli like a dog with big eyes.
After helping him up, Zhongli apologized and gave Childe a handshake.

"Forgive me Childe, but I also wanted to do a little joke",

Zhongli said.

"Mhm, but it really hurts",

he answered.

"You know...."

Childe then said.

"....I think if you would give me a hug, it won't hurt anymore."

Zhongli just looked at Childe with this face, he always does when he's annoyed but also confused.

"Pleasee",

He looked at Zhongli like a dog with these big eyes again.
Other people who were nearby, looked at them, because Childe was now talking a bit louder than before.
Zhongli just stared at Childe.

"Do I have to?"

"Yes, please",

he said to Zhongli.

"Ugh fine, come here...",

he told Childe.
Childe's face got from sad to super happy and he started to smile.
Then he hugged Zhongli.
The other people around started to walk their own way again, but some other people, especially young woman's, just stared at them for a bit longer.
It wasn't so normal here in Liyue that a man hugs another man in front of other people.
They giggled and left.

Childe then let him go.

"Can we start off with the restaurants now, please?"

Zhongli already started walking to the first restaurant.
While Childe still stood in front of the hotel.

"Come on now",

Zhongli said to Childe and turned around to him.

"Ahaha, sorry I forgot something.
Please wait for me, I'll hurry!",

he said to Zhongli, turned around and ran back in to the hotel.

After reaching his room, he locked the door and ran into the bathroom.
Childe then looked into the mirror.
Hid face was all red, but not because of anger.

"Heh~, it's dangerous. I feel it."

He washed his face with cold water and left the bathroom.

"I need more of him...
Even if he doesn't want.
He will be mine."
