SECOND ENCOUTER

it was early in the night, 00:04 to be exact, and kaiden came back home from dinner about an hour before and just wanted to have a good night sleep.

but of course, fate wasn't with her and she couldn't even rest if she wanted to. and the cause of the issue would be the ear-deafening sounds from next door. her neighbour was up to the same stuff as the day they first met, which wasn't exactly pleasant to the ears, according to kaiden.

the brunette wasn't having any of it, so finally she stood up, poured herself a glass of white wine and went to sit outside in front of her apartment, taking the bottle with her.

that what's supposed to be a covered hallway, was more like an adjoined balcony, so she didn't do herself any favours by sitting alone in the cold with no jacket on.

hearing moans and screams coming from the place next to her, the apartment of the person she already despised the most, made kaiden roll her eyes.

that girl must be a paid actress, cause there's no way he's that good. she thought and mentally rolled her eyes to the back of her brain.

the said sounds were only getting louder, so the girl chugged the rest of the glass only for her to pour herself a new one. and another one. and one more.

expecting it to go on for a long while, the sounds finally stopped. not even a minute after, a girl stepped outside, shamefully making her way to the stairs. kaiden raised her wine glass at the girl.

"cheers." she said, making the girl walk away even faster than before.

the brunette laughed to herself and took a big sip of her glass. unfortunately her few seconds of joy were disturbed by the door next to hers opening, revealing a shirtless figure with a beer in his hand.

you've got to be shitting me.

"aren't you cold, buttercup?" the girl practically mocked his behavior, as heard by her way of speaking. this time was the first one to make a cocky remark.

"why? you here to warm me up?" the boy facing her smirked and stepped closer.

"well, i'd ask you to to come inside," kaiden responded, pointing at her own front door, "but it's seems you already did." she grinned, hinting at the girl from a minute before while slightly laughing at her own joke.

"anyways, this was fun, but i'd rather drink myself to death than to look at this." the girl sarcastically remarked and pointed at sunghoon's figure.

"aw, don't be like that, love, come and have a drink with me." the silver haired boy smirked and stepped even closer.

kaiden was drunk, sunghoon was drunk and they both knew what would probably happen if they stuck together that night, but she wouldn't let it get that far.

"let me think, no thanks."

that was the last thing she said before she got up and entered her house again, leaving her neighbour standing there, looking at the closed door.
